Ordered on ford.com. Not sure I'll actually take delivery, but we'll see what happens.

Dealer called today and said they needed an additional $500 deposit (I already paid $500 online) and that I would have to fill out a credit app. I told him to just cancel my order instead.

Honestly, I can't speak for them, but trucker work/life seems tough and not sure the next generation will want that work/lifestyle. A lot of jobs are probably like that now. Hard to find enough folks to do them.

I'm seriously considering trading my 2021 FE in for a 2023 GTPE. Only has 10K miles right now. Wonder what I could get for it when the GT comes in. Ahhhh! Decisions.

I apologize if this has been answered already but is there any benefit to going into a dealer and ordering as opposed to ordering online? For example, can any negotiations on pricing be done in the store? Or is that able to be done during the time of pickup?

This is my first post and I'm hoping to order a Mach E soon!!

When you order a Mach-E online you can see the whole process and get emails for events, like when it is scheduled, etc. You can also complete the purchase online rather than having to go to the dealer. You can sign online and pick up the car so you can bypass the finance guy crap. I highly recommend it instead of ordering offline and relying on the dealer to keep you informed.

I ordered from a dealer and got all the updates directly from Ford. I knew my car was delivered to dealer before the dealer knew. He had to walk outside to check. Of course that was when the recall happened. So I had to wait 2 weeks to pick it up. I did go sit in though.

Negotiations are done at the time of signing. From what I can tell at this time ordering online nets you little benefit over going into a local dealer you trust and ordering it in person.

I placed my order last Friday. Premium AWD SR in Carbonized Grey, all in after tax about $64,750. Put down a $3,000 deposit.

$64,750 After the $3k down correct?

I wanted the premium but went with the rt1, better range for my needs. I couldn't justify the $3-4k difference in price for not much difference between a rt1 and a premium awd ext batt.

Premium has better stereo, better interior lighting, and 8 way passenger seat. That is all the real diffence I could find.

For the ones who have ordered, how many of you opt for the bigger battery pack? We are thinking of ordering a Premium AWD. The difference between standard and extended battery is almost 10k.

I would really look at the Rt 1 vs the premium awd, ext batty. Not much real differences between the two in my opinion.

I have a '22 Premium AWD ER battery on the way, and opted for a '23 GT order so I can get the Grabber Blue color I really wanted, plus I like the front fascia better on the GT anyways. However, my accepting the GT will be based on market conditions and trade in on my '22 in a year or so.



Love the GB color! Congrats!! I spoke to three dealerships and was told FORD ended X plan pricing for 2023 on the Mach E as they also don't accept it on Lightning either. So not sure what your dealership is doing but that's awesome.

Dealers can choose to accept X-Plan or not.
