My car hit the last train stop last week Monday. Unloaded last Thursday and has been waiting on truck to dealer. Close but taking forever. Hoping no impact from recall

So close! Chat just told me that it was received in the last stop rail yard (less than 10 miles from dealer) on Friday with the ETA still being the 15th so we'll see. There's also still that final inspection to determine if the rear axle recall affects my VIN ?

I think it depends on who you speak with. I spoke with Monique this morning and all she said was, "It's on it's way". I closed out the chat in frustration...didn't even bother to say 'bye'. lol

Sounds about like me. I don't get lucky when I use it. :(

This is my copy-paste question (though half the time they still tell me their own copy-paste response with the ford tracking URL and that I can contact the dealer).

[Hello name - omit if not feeling friendly hah,] I'm hoping to see the most recent location and ETA for my Mach E order. Order Code: [XXXX] Sales Code: [YYYYYY] Thank you in advance for the information. I am aware of https://shop.ford.com/vehicleordertracking but the current tracking position status is not available via the Ford tracker. I am also aware that I can contact my dealership for information if they are available/willing to share any information.

They have never failed to tell me -some- location even if it's the same as last time. Some reps seem to only provide the bare minimum, e.g., it's in Richards-gebaur, MO while others will go hog wild and give you full location, tracking number if available, etc.

One time I received -only- a vague status (something like "order processing") and that it was in production and I followed up and asked if there was a VIN and they replied "I actually do see there is a VIN attached." and proceed to give me the VIN. So with some reps, if they don't give you much, you can probably prod them to provide more details if you know there should be more available. If they claim they don't have anything you could probably hop off and back on and hope for a different rep.

Someone, somewhere knows! But who knows who knows? ? Only the brave can resist the pull to resort to questioning chat/phone reps with information that will only further exacerbate the anticipation!

Decided to prove my own point today. Reached back out and got Diane again. She's always willing to dish out more info. She gave me much more than the rep from this morning. I'm beginning to think my delivery date is going to get pushed out. From other's experience, the car sits in Denver for about a week before making it's way to Colorado Springs. That said, they have until the 11th to get it to Denver. My delivery window was 9/12-9/18. Already going to miss those first two days. lol

Hang in there....the car will eventually find it's way home.

My car arrived at the dealership on the 30th of August due to the recall. They said they have to deal with the warranty paperwork that takes forever for them to approve. Then wait for them to receive the part. :( sucks I can't track the person to sign off on the parts.

The sales guy told me they received another Mach-e with mine but there's was okay and mine wasn't. Lucky bastard lol.

This nightmare appears to be over for me. i am going to pick up my vehicle tomorrow at 10am. No recall so I am feeling good. I am so glad this is coming to an end. i would not wish this on any other car buyer. Good Luck all and I hope you guys get your vehicles soon.

By the way, Ford tracker still says it is being shipped and the Ford reps still say it is at ramp 58 in Melvindale Michigan.

Well on a positive note, mine has moved from ramp 6R Richards Guilbeau to Ramp 6U Muncie Ramp.

Based on past experiences, this is the ramp I need. From there it makes the trek to CA. I disconnected from chat before I remembered to ask for a railcar number. Will try again later to see if I can get that information, but I am thrilled it is making positive progress now after eta being changed multiple times.

Hopefully this new one is the last and final one. Come on Mach E, come home.

I hope mine just shows up even with ford chat etc having no update like some lol

So sad that it flowed so well through the entire process so well just to be stuck because... Florida? Has no trucks?
