I just pick up my car this past Saturday and I have the You Tube and News aps, but they are greyed out and I cannot select them. Not sure how to activate them either.

I assume you're not on early access if you just picked up the car. Maybe that's why it's locked?

3.5.3 installed on my February 2021 build job 1 this morning. The same issue as with 3.5.2 yesterday: automatic updates is turned OFF.

I can’t comment on anything else as I’m not home to look at the UI, but this is getting annoying. Why have a switch for automatic updates if it’s just going to be ignored?

The car got 3.5.3 this afternoon while on the road. I am in EA and the car was built in January 2021. I like the full screen Android Auto.

I just got the 3.5.3.3 OTA today that actually enables the streaming. Hopefully once you get 3.5.3 you’ll get 3.5.3.3 within a week to fully enable it.

Just received 3.5.3 sometime this afternoon on my MY 21 Job 1 Premium ER AWD. One small UI annoyance. The heated seats have an “auto” mode. When they are in “Auto”, there used to be an amber indicator (I believe either an amber “A” or an amber lozenge). Now, the only indicator is a very small white “A” hidden in the bolster of the seat icon. You really have to look to find it. At first, I was convinced that Ford had decontented the Auto heated seats to bring us to feature parity with future models ?

I was finally able to try it at home while on wifi and it works.

3.5.3 installed on Friday, but oddly, no in-vehicle notification. The Amazon Eye appeared and was quickly banished. The stupid new games are there. No YouTube app, no Frunk release.
Oh, and they messed up the formerly “automatic” climate control ? AC is now manual ? Also, I seem to recall the windshield demisters kicking in when needed. They most definitely do NOT kick in at all and the windshield fogs up pretty much instantly unless you manually turn them on now.

I haven’t driven my car since 3.5.3 arrived. I haven’t even seen the changes in person. What you’re describing sounds like a step backwards and a wholesale change that really should have its own highlight in the revision notes.

That's odd, I too received the 3.5.3 OTA on Friday. Have been driving through rain for three days and haven't had the windshield fogging up. Don't know why the behavior seems different. I have a job 2 vehicle.
