So I’ve had my 22 Mach E for a week. Woke up the last two days to find a puddle of water that could fill a 5 gallon bucket on the garage floor. Outside temp is around 40 degrees so obviously not using AC. A Ford tech checked it out and after removing the frunk determined that condensation had built up on the coils and will continue to do so whether you’re using the heater or air conditioner. I could see the white film on multiple areas. I joked with the tech that I probably should stay warm with the seat and steering wheel heater instead, he agreed. This was a lot of water! Had to use a squeegee broom to push it out of garage. So my question is, every time I use the heater or AC the water is gonna run over all these components, will it damage these areas over time?Corrosion? There’s already white residue everywhere after a week! Seems to me that Ford should have placed insulation on these hoses. What about long term? Anyone else have this issue?

That seems strange. If it was really humid, the car will probably be running the defroster (AC compressor) even though the heat is on, which will undoubtedly generate condensation. But I can't say I've ever seen that, or at least noticed it, in my 1.8 years of ownership.

That is NOT right. Maryland has very humid summers. I've never seen that magnitude of condensation in driving my Mach E since February 2021.

Nothing like that in my 6 months of ownership. Was it raining at all? I do drip a bit of water after driving around in the rain. Even more driving in snow!

No rain in a while. Also, white residue buildup from water on AC hose. I guess this means it’s been happening continuously since driving the vehicle. Only seen water on garage floor twice. Understand you would get condensation buildup from AC usage but it’s cold outside. Too much water for it to be just condensation.

Something is wrong. Tell your dealer you need them to resolve it or bring Ford technicians in to help. Too many persons give wise ass answers. That’s not helpful and if it was them it wouldn’t be acceptable.

As others have posted, I have only ever seen puddles under the car after driving in the rain. And we have very humid summers here. If this continues, it needs to go back to the dealership for more investigation.
