11/7/22 Build Week Thread for 2023 MME's

Sorry - I don't have anything new. Since my dealer told me 11/30-12/6, I figure I'll wait until sometime next week and see if they have anything new. It'll drive me crazy if I try to track it too much otherwise!!

Which dealer are you going through? I'm using Metropolitan out in Eden Prairie.

Hello to another Minnesotan! I’m going through New Brighton Ford.

in the 10/31 batch, Ford and dealer says the car is built but website still showing in production. Ford Chat gave me an ETA of 12/08. Not sure what to believe, but really hoping that it gets here before the end of the year.

How can I tell what batch I am ?

Have you located your VIN and window sticker yet? It is on the upper right hand corner of your window sticker (top header area above the border and the text)

I have thank you.I had viewed the window sticker before but had no idea what some of those numbers were for.

@astrorob is actually batch #9217 before #9259, or theoretically, about 600+ cars ahead of yours in the queue. However, that has not been meant much for any of us. I think mine showed shipped after his and I was in the first 500 of that batch.

Our cars have been in "shipped" status for five days now and I show an ETA of 12/17, also to Walnut Creek. So, could yours still in production end up here by 12/12? I certainly hope so because that is good for all of us. Logically, however, that does not make sense but really none of this process makes a lot of sense to us with such limited information.

I just try to extrapolate the data and make guesses like the rest of us. I fully expect disappointment, overtime because I’m a pesamist but because it’s almost been a year and I hear excuse after excuse. I feel as if they just don’t want to build premiums with all the options instead of GT’s.

I could have bought a GT but I didn’t feel it was worth the premium .. well over “premium”.

Initially scheduled for 10/31 week, later bumped to 11/7 week.

Built: 11/11/22
Shipped: I got the shipped email 11/15, is there a way to know if it shipped before this date?
Modules populate, although I'm not sure which day they first populated.
Estimated Delivery: 12/8/22 - 12/14/22
Located in: Los Angeles
Batch: 9259
Build number: 590/1034

Ford chat gave me an update on location this morning as Laredo, TX. They also gave me my railcar number (although window sticker shows shipped via Convoy).

I called the Norfolk Southern number this morning and right now, gives location as Taylor, TX, last updated at 9pm on 11/20.

According to FC today my car was received at junction point, Laredo, TX. United Road says the destination is the UP Auto Unload Facility in Henderson, CO and then transported to the dealer in Aurora, CO. FC was not able to give me a railcar # and told me it won't be available until picked up by the next rail carrier (presumably UP). ETA is unchanged at 12/5 - 12/11, 2022.

Where did you find how to locate for United?

Watching lots of people in the 11/14 thread get built and shipped notifications and I'm stuck "in production". Like what the heck? Did they forget my pony in the Mexican desert?

It seems like our numbers are growing, like did they forget to turn tracking on for ours? Chat still gives me and ETA of 12/10-15 but I don’t believe them.

We had one from our 10/10 build group that took about 11 days or so until he got a built notification. It took awhile for him to get a tear tag. His was also a Premium.

Where did you find how to locate for United?

The instructions were posted earlier in this thread. I'm not sure this provides much useful information in my case as the tracking is inactive and will I'm assuming it will remain so until my MME arrives in Henderson.

I'm in the same boat. I've been in production since 11/9.


I have no idea what is causing the hold in production.
