11/7/22 Build Week Thread for 2023 MME's

I’m almost half way to the 26 day mark… definitely on the wrong side of the bell curve. Ford says I’ve been in production since 11/7. 588/1419.

Even though I'm in CA, Norfolk Southern's system has been the most consistent at keeping me updated. As of this morning, they list mine as departed Fort Worth, TX earlier this morning.

How are you tracking from them?

I was on the same boat. In production for 18 days since 11/7, this morning (11/25) it shows built and awaiting shipment. Delivery ETA updated from 12/4-12/10 to 12/20-12/26. Maybe your status will be changed in a day or two.

So frustrating. So many of these vehicles ordered many months later than my order on 3/20/22 that are further along in the shipping process than mine.

2023 Premium Space White AWD. Ordered 3/20/22. Scheduled to be built week of 11/7/22 (pushed from 10/31/22). Built 11/24/22. 109/1034. New Eta 12/20-12/26 (was 12/9-12/16).

Was stuck "In Production" on the tracker for two weeks. Finally shows "Built 11/24/22" (not sure why that took so long) and is now awaiting shipment. Current ETA to my dealer here in SoCal is 12/20-12/26. Ford chat says that it has been released from the factory and awaiting shipment (location: Ramp 5J, Lecheria Cuap, EM.).

I actually ordered the exact same vehicle on 8/30/22 when orders reopened with another dealer (I did so as I wasn't clear on how much my 2022-23 price protection was going to be and I figured I would try and bigger volume dealer (Galpin).

Really frustrating that the car that was ordered first was delayed so much longer over a recent order - I have to just wait for the original order as the price protection is $6000 vs. the new order. Still hoping for delivery this year but looking bleak... (fingers crossed)....getting that full $7500 rebate would be SO helpful.....

Anyone hear of any updates on how the tax rebate will be applied for vehicles arriving in 2023? Or is it still unclear?

How are you tracking from them?

If you click "TRACKERS" at the top of the page, it includes instructions for lots of tracking mechanisms. Copying the instructions for Norfolk Southern here.

2. Press 2.
3. Press 2.
4. Enter the letters on the numeric keypad then press #. As in: TTGX will be 8849
5. Enter the numbers then press #. It wasn't taking my voice prompts but typing worked.

This is just more evidence they’re prioritizing ‘23 models that are not eligible for the private offer. I ordered mine on 2/5, entered production 11/5…still in production. Premium ER AWD. I’m not a lawyer, but I wouldn’t be surprised if I get notified of a class-action suit next year against Ford. Misleading the consumer or something, who knows. But I do know I’m 99% certain I’m canceling my order if it’s after Dec 31 unless the $7500 is applied to the order in some way.

I tried all three tracking lines for my train car. One says no status, the other two say it's empty in CA. FC tells me it was last seen in TX with my car on it. @NiceandSimpleMache do you have any updates?

I tried tracking mine. CSX said no status, NS said it was last seen in California in Sep. Since we no longer have access to palsapp, I can’t see when if it is going to be trucked to KY.

Batch 9217, 1030/1419, estimate delivery Dec 6-12 (has never changed). Got an unsolicited email from my dealer in Morgan Hill, CA yesterday that my car was in final inspection in Kansas City. He said he would check again in mid December. I will let you decipher what that means. Have enjoyed reading all the post which has kept me from calling Morgan Hill everyday asking "where is my car!"

I don't know what to make of this. Yesterday morning, NS listed my car as departed from Fort Worth, TX. I assumed it was making its way up to Kansas City like I've read about a ton on here. This morning though, it says Merkel, TX, which is out west, near Abilene. So I wonder if some CA-bound cars could be skipping KC and heading this direction from DFW. Will keep checking in.

I just did FC and they said last posted location was Laredo TX on 11/19 so if we are still in the same rail car we should be in KC soon (assuming it left TX on or shortly after the 19th). It takes 6-7 days.
