Order Scheduled for Production Date

Then you are not reading the posts. Scroll up a few and you’ll find #524.....7700 11/19 res, ordered out of the gate in June stuck with a second week of Feb assignment. Lets take a sec to wrap our heads around that one. Not dec 8, feb 8.

More to the point. There was a claim that there is a logic to the assignments. I asked for enlightenment. You jumped in without presenting a set of rules that explain what has happened thus far (I.e. the logic). And your description clearly doesn’t account for what we are actually seeing in the reports.

I did estimate roughly order by reservation date +/- a month, and assuming around that date should be January we are looking at one that is one month early and one that is one one month later. Not perfect, but not worth losing sleep over.

The only one that bothers me a little is the one with a build date prior to many with a reservation, and wasn't a FE drop, and no reservation... They are probably allowing a small % of dealer priority allotment to get scheduled in along with the ones that have reservations.

Do we have any idea of how many / % that have a reservation but are still waiting for a build date?

No, that's not what I said. Just the ones reserved around the mid Dec 2019-Feb or so 2020 time frame.

It appears that anything other than Premium AWD ER gets an earlier build date than their reservation date would indicate. I reserved in January and have a Feb 7th build week but mine is the Premium AWD ER. Reservation number is 34,5xx.

So, I added my VIN to FordPass and ... it seems FordPass seems to think I’m the proud owner of a 2021 Ford Edge ? I certainly hope that’s a temporary fluke. Oh, and the VIN website doesn’t know my VIN.

Yea - that has happened to a few folks. Some of which did change shortly after. A lot of the Ford systems don't seem to be up-to-date and may not update till closer to deliveries.

Ordered through Apple Ford in Columbia Maryland. Didn't seem to have any difficulties.

Yup it shows the image of a Mach E when I try to set it up in the app but calls it an Edge

I called my Ford dealer and my original rep was out on leave for a while which explains the lack of response. I was able to have another person find my VIN and the following snapshot. I am guessing as we get closer the last 3 columns will get populated. Soon real soon
