I know this is a semi old post but my 2023 arrived with the nite pony package and the gt badge and pony on the front are identical to my 2022 gtpe. The only difference are the wheels. Not sure why Ford said the badges would be different but they definitely aren't on the gtpe. Maybe on the premium since the pony doesn't light up? Anyway, glad I saved $6k and stayed with the 2022 since the only difference between the 2 was the nite pony package.
The only thing Ford stated would be different from a typical 2023 GT PE was black painted wheels and a black GT badge on the back.

High-gloss black 19-inch wheels and a black Pony on the grille set the Premium apart, while the GT Performance Edition sports 20-inch high-gloss black wheels and black GT badge. The package also features black front and rear lower fascia, front and rear door cladding, wheel center caps with bright pony graphics and black mirror caps.

Are you sure the GT badge wasn't black? Here's one at a dealer in Texas, for instance:

Ford Mustang Mach-E New Nite Pony Package for 2023 Mach-E 4636e4a72f2a687b0b9fea38cdd69aa2x

Wow. Just wow.

Come on, man! Ford's marketing team continues to not look good when it comes to advertising what's actually on these GT cars and what the cars actually capabilities are.

How is this even possible? The GT badge literally gets blacked out on the build your own site! ?‍♂
Maybe check the facts and see for yourself.

I did check the facts from Fords literature and they have a history of not accurately reporting information on the MME. The website and literature says that the badge SHOULD be black yet Renee's post is the first post that I've seen of someone seeing one in the wild.

Example "Ford Fact": Ford said 2021 GT & GTPE brakes were the same. They're not.

Everything from Ford is fake news/inconclusive news until there's more supporting evidence one way or another. Ford has shit the bed one too many times when it comes to MME transparency and many of us still have a bad taste in our mouths.

Sad but true.

The list of errors in the literature is quite long.

Remember when we were worried the GT had manual passenger seats?

In our minds, there is a huge team of people who work on these things and triple check everything.

Reality- it’s probably one or two people who had a C average in school. Remember that 70% is a passing grade.

I have a black 2021 GTPE and have the black GT. Maybe it depends on the body color, even with the package? I’d assume it lists what’s blacked out on the window sticker. So if it does say black GT badge and it isn’t, definitely should fight to get a black one.

The side badges at least were supposed to be painted black but they must have forgotten I paid $800 for that.

Yep, they also stated in the early literature that the GT-PE wheels were forged (one of the reasons I went with the PE over the regular GT). They are not. They are obviously cast wheels and weigh a ton. ??

Here is the link to the dealership that has my 2023 that I ordered with the nite pony package

Look at the rear GT badge and compare it to any other GTPE badge. It is 100% the same as the badge on my 2022 GTPE. I know it said it would be different but proof is that was not the case when my car came in.

I looked up close to 5 different 23' GTPEs today on CarGurus and all of them had no difference in the GT badge from the 22 models.

Did any of those have black wheels?

In today's market, I am seeing too many Kia's, Hyundai's, Mitsubishi's and other crap cars with black wheels. I think it cheapens the look. It's like cat shit, its all around

And this is how Ford helps keep @AOSK in business.

So, what do you think, @AOSK ? Can you do what Ford has failed to do?
Can you make some AMAZING, SPECIAL, BLACK GT badges?

I’m not saying “Nite Pony”. They may as well have called it Shady Unicorn.

And, AOSK, if you can/do make it, can we get matching black GT badges to put on the front fenders, where they belong?

I’m also not a fan of the Canadian placement on the door. There’s a place between the front wheel well and the front door. It’s where the “5.0” used to live. To honor the 5.0 in our EV’s, that is the rightful place for side GT badges.

I’d also love a “PE” badge that matches the GT font and style, BUT that doesn’t seem to get the same interest as other things…… soooo…

Dog poop is way better than cat poop. Don't get me started on gear oil. Err... Cat pee. ??
