........, these are not official numbers. Although there may be some inferred logic behind the calculations, you may want to wait until Ford/EPA provides official data.
..and when will they be officially out? ANyone know?

Hi Everyone. I work at Ford on the launch of Mustang Mach-E. We fully expect EPA-certified driving range estimates for the Mustang Mach-E will deliver the targets we have set. We will have more to share later this month.
Great! Thanks for piping in. I understand if you may need to remain anonymous if you are not able to speak officially for Ford. It's great to get unofficial word!

All vehicles have emissions certification posted by EPA, even zero emissions vehicles.
Today I finally found the Mach-E certificate summary information (CSI) posted (see links below).

There are two Mach-E vehicles posted; AWD ER and RWD ER.

This data is the unadjusted City/UDDS and Highway/HWFET range
derived from a single test, the SAE J1634 Multi-Cycle Test (MCT).

The data does not look to too promising.

1. All-Wheel Drive Extended Range Mach-E

2. Rear-Wheel Drive Extended Range Mach-E

The certificate also has the road load and test mass information;

The Mach-E is not too svelte at 14.9 road load hp (at 50 mph).

Wow. 8 pages of posts, 2 media articles, and responses from Ford already! Nice job finding these @EVmodeler. Thanks.

I wouldn't say mean Ford can't figure it out; it's just that Tesla has been focusing on improving efficiency of electric drive systems for 17 years.

The Model Y likely has more favorable aerodynamics as well.
I think the MachE is a much heavier vehicle as well.

Remember, the original model S with 85kWh battery pack had an EPA range of 265mi. A few years later, the 100kWh version came out with 315mi. That's roughly the same efficiency (3.1 mi/kWh vs 3.2 mi/kWh, respectively) despite a weight increase. Now, the 100kWh version is rated at 402mi, which is a more than 27% increase in efficiency (4 mi/kWh).

If Ford adopts a continuous improvement model, they should also be able to increase efficiency moving forward.
I'd be ok with this as long as they roll that out to legacy MachE customers for free.

Everything is fine. Deep breathe, exhale, and relax. ☕
Was thinking the same thing. Glad you said it and not me though! Not sure why people get this worked up over unofficial test results with incomplete info on the situation. :)

I think it just goes to show how passionate people are for this car and the sincere wish to see this thing succeed.

Buyers want the Mach-E to be immediately competitive against the segment leader and so the possibility that the Mustang will be hobbled against its rivals is a tough thought to bear.

I'm stoked to see Ford's responses and especially a couple-three Ford employees on this thread to help settle the nervous herd.

Yes, about 8% heavier. Model Y max curb weight* 4475 lb; Mach E AWD ER max curb weight 4838 lb.

*includes options, e.g. presumably the front motor, biggest battery, and biggest wheels.
