Well, the calm screen could be launched by pressing the volume knob, so that was already easily accessible.

Early reports from 2023 owners have said that you can't shrink the screen anymore, so now the cards below are permanently small (and much less functional).

That would be an unfortunate loss. That was the way I ran mine 90% of the time. I was hoping they replaced the knob press calm screen functionality with shrink/expand now that calm screen is a button in the settings.

My wife had horses growing up. I mentioned it to her and she didn’t see anything wrong with it. Apparently “unbridle” as a verb is fine according to horse people.

Ahhh! She’s right! When I’m tried and people ask me what’s up I tell them I feel like I’ve been “ridden hard and put away wet”. I get the strangest looks unless they are horse people

I don’t know if getting rid of Alexa switches that out to the camera button there, but on mine it is a dedicated Alexa button.

You are correct....at least as far as I can see. Unless there is a setting I am not noticing. I usually had it set that way anyway, so not a big deal for me.
