Actually I just did some searching and it appears the PMI procedure might do what I need here. Crossing fingers and trying this on the GWM
.... this didn't work. It just rewrites the configuration, didn't download the software for the module. searching more.

I also tried the mysterious "envelope" icon in the upper right. This has an option to "Refresh vehicle files" which I selected:

Instead of doing this, however, FDRS tells me to "re-ID" my vehicle, and just kicks me back out to the VIN screen. I cannot figure out how to get the refresh to work. Anyone familiar with this option?

@Mach-Lee I assume selecting remove everything in the FDRS uninstaller should do the trick.

unfortunately, uninstall / reinstall of FDRS in unconnected mode isn't showing that I have a GWM update. I gotta go back to my car and connect up, but I'm skeptical.

Well, my Job 2 2021 isn't showing anything :( @Gimme_my_MME why do you do me dirty like this?!?
Neil do you show similar GWM / APIM errors as I now have with all of your available updates done?

Being that I'm not seeing it, seems like someone bungled it and it has gotten pulled. We have the same car, so I should see it.

No, I have no updates at all available this evening.

I've cleared all DTCs, ran network scan like 5 times. Did APIM reset, turned the car on and off a jillion times. NOTHING!

Did you get 3.6.2? I think that was the PCM update you did, maybe?
yes my PCM update was there for a little while, I delayed updating until the exciting APIM update became available.

I'm betting there was a problem and this was pulled .... everything I've tried with FDRS hasn't worked. I show incorrect software versions in GWM, APIM, and TCU.

I bet it doesn’t like the PCM update and makes the rest disappear. I got 3.6.2 first day of release OTA and have no updates available. Seems like if you were fully updated to that version it bonks getting the rest. Lame.
