yes my PCM update was there for a little while, I delayed updating until the exciting APIM update became available.

I'm betting there was a problem and this was pulled .... everything I've tried with FDRS hasn't worked. I show incorrect software versions in GWM, APIM, and TCU.
I tried one more thing -- I am in a special Ford analytics program, and I disabled this, and tried again. This actually cleared the GWM software version error, but I still show APIM and TCU being on incompatible software versions, and no GWM update as it briefly showed me initially.

Oh well, gonna put this away for the time being and hope that we still get a new UX for Christmas.

No luck for me either, no updates showing up for me after a network scan. Major bummer, I hate how they can't just release this stuff for everybody at once and be done with it.

I have a problem. GWM showed available, then disappeared.

FDRS showed I had 3 updates: PCM, SOBDMC, and GWM. I selected the first one, PCM, which also downloaded the SOBDMC. These installed without any problem and FDRS said successful.

However, after that GWM update disappeared.

It now appears that GWM and APIM is showing incompatible software, and I can't figure out how to get GWM to re-download or get back into a state where it will flash the right software version.

I'm suspecting that the GWM update is a dependency but Ford didn't mark it properly.
@scoopman - You're not alone. I had exactly the same thing happen to me yesterday in my 2022 -so frustrating!

Damn I wish I'd installed the GWM first before doing the PCM ?

Would that mean the new 4A update is on FDRS? Since the dealer applied it? Or do they have pre-access?
Same access as the rest of us.

Always, always update GWM, TCU before anything else.

That's what I was thinking. Puzzled how that update was applied then.
It's a '22 GT....my Lightning got the new interface a few days ago. I'm not at all surprised that the '22s are first in line.

I'm not saying this is what's going to happen, but I'll tell you how it went on the Lightning...first it was updated to Sync 539 a couple of months ago and that was the same as my '21 Mach-E. Then there was an update on the Lightning that took it to Sync 610 on Nov 23rd (with no visible changes at all to the interface). Then a GWM (gateway) update followed on the 7th of Dec. And finally the revised interface APIM update that took Sync to 640 on the Lightning happened on the 13th of Dec.

EDIT: and then another GWM update three days after the Sync update.

I don't know if that's how it's going to be for everybody but that's what happened on my Lightning. I did go out this morning and connected the Mongoose to the Mach-E but there were no updates queued. (Spammed the Network Scan button after clearing DTCs, etc.)

I'm sure the General is going to get this update before me....so I'll just wait.... ;)

Also...on doing a PMI...if you're doing that and want the files to re-download, don't you say "No" when it asks if the original module is installed? I thought that was the way you got it to completely re-download fresh files. I could be mis-remembering.

@scoopman , I'm starting to wonder if these errors are why they put a HOLD on 21G01. Maybe has something to do with not being compatible with MY21 cars. My MY22 GT had GWM update, once completed, APIM showed up, then once APIM was done, another GWM showed up. All completed fine with no DTCs.

They're not.
What is the reason 21G01 is on HOLD?
I only wondered and speculated because the day these new updates for new UI came out, 21G01 was advised NOT to be performed on Mach E

No GWM, TCU, or APIM for me. I had diagnostic controllers, hybrid powertrain module, battery energy module, PCM, BCM and HVAC.

2022 Job 1 Premium in EA.

@Mike G anything I can do to now that I didn't follow your advice?

Re PMI if you answer Yes it tells you to physically install the module then hit ok then it does the same thing as saying No. For me it just downloaded config not any software update.
