I like it this way. I got custom plates coming and I opted for 'UNBRIDL' as the personalized character combination. Wish I could go with 8 characters but the state doesn't allow it. Initially wanted to go with 'UNBRDLE' but wife kept on reading it as 'Un-Bird-Le' so opted to just cut the E out.
Why is the camera button so special? I have a 2014 f150 so I'm not up to what's going on in the car tech world.OMG YOU HAVE A CAMERA BUTTON!!!
Because the current implementation sucks with the slow UI, and a dedicated camera button is the #1 most wanted feature addition by Mach-E owners according to this poll. The camera is a huge help while parking. If you want to use it to park, you have to stop, wait, hit menu, wait, hit camera, wait, before it will come up. Probably takes close to 10 seconds which is long enough to get honked at in a lot. The gripe comes from the fact that most other Ford vehicles with 360º cameras have a dedicated hard button to activate them, but for whatever reason Ford decided that wasn't necessary on the Mach-E and buried the button in a menu with a slow response time. It's so annoying to use, some people (ahem, Mark) have actually gone to the trouble of wiring in and programming their own physical camera button as a workaround.
Personalized plates are always interesting compromises. We’re not allowed to have personalized plates on any EV here (both PHEV and BEV) so coming up with a letter combo wasn’t an issue for me.
No. Alexa being dismissed has nothing to do with the new camera button.

If the new calm button is a persistent button, there are going to be complaints forthcoming shortly after this goes live. The button is located close yo the sync screen knob and will result in a bunch of inadvertent calm screen activations.

I hope not! Much of we have seen so far appear to be informational type displays designed to show us what is available and may not be indicative of what you will see at any given time. What you may actually see might be different and dependent upon the context of what you’ve selected or asked for. At least I hope so, the pictures show a busy interface (to me anyway).

Yes but Unbridled would be the adjective for, modifying “Mode”. Of course, that would mean the standard mode should have been “Engaged”.

5,000+ miles into ownership and I still get burned by the lack of one-tap rear hatch access often. Just last night- park, turn the car off, realize I need to get something from the trunk, start the process on the screen, passenger opens their door which makes the screen turn off.
