Got my '23 Select a couple weeks ago, and there is not a frunk divider. I'm fine with it since I would have removed it if there was one. Just wondering if it is no longer included in the 23s, or if mine just didn't get one? Anyone with a 23 have one?

I think they stopped using the dividers after 21 MY

I didn't have it in my '22 so it seems like they killed them off. Like you though, I would have removed it. Ill just find one aftermarket that I like better and when I need one.

Cars produced ~July 2021 or later don't have frunk dividers.

The dividers were a temporary safety measure until Ford was satisfied with its ability to electronically open the frunk if a child were trapped in there and pressed the internal safety release button. They fixed this at the factory level, but not yet via OTA (for owners of vehicles produced July 2021 or earlier).

The frunk divider was never an accessory. They added it to early 2021 cars to prevent children from fitting in the frunk since the emergency release button didn‘t work. It still doesn’t for most 2021 Job 1 owners.

Funk dividers were a special, surprise bonus ford only gave the Mustang Mach E early adopters. Later buyers got the unadorned frunk. It was Ford’s way of thanking us for sticking with them so patiently through all the pandemic delays while we waited for our first cars.

If you really want a frunk divider, you might find one on eBay. Be prepared to pay though - they’re very rare (I removed mine so that I can keep them in mint condition ?)

Ah, thanks everyone. I assumed they all had them, sorry for the distraction, carry on. :)
It’s quite alright. The Frunk, and why job 1 frunks still can’t be opened remotely, is one of our favorite distractions in these parts. ;)
