okay, so having some time today, I installed the OBCC update, and then I followed the secret steps to turn off the advanced analytics. I did a full self-test and confirmed that APIM GWM TCU etc -- everything -- was all green.

I then tried a full network scan and ...... NOTHING. Still no GWM or other updates for my car.

Gotta wait until the Elves come back from holiday I guess.

Heh, this is petty much why I was planning on not doing anything with FDRS until the end of January. I’m still keeping my ears open though. ??

I did follow the blessed path of doing the GWM first; I had no TCU update waiting. Once I did the GWM, then the APIM update appeared. I have been anything BUT a golden child on OTAs, but I seem to have spectacular luck with FDRS (knock on wood).

It looks like they cleaned up Navigation a little bit too (maybe? Or maybe it’s just the new font), and it knows about L2 chargers that just opened recently in my podunk little town, so it seems to be keeping itself updated. All in all, a really good update with the exception of the hideous iconography.

After FDRS programing 22B28 HVAC did it remove itself from Ford’s website as an open CSP.?

I don't know the answer to that. I can tell you that in my own case it's still an open action in ETIS, and I have updated with FDRS. I did not get it as an OTA...I hear some people did get it that way and maybe if they did, it gets removed from the ETIS actions. But I don't know for sure.

I've never had any of the updates I've done in FDRS disappear from ETIS. It still shows the contactor recall open for my car even though I applied that update months ago.

I had my dealer update the battery bus recall after I completed it on FDRS. Two days later it showed completed on Ford’s site. I’m going to have them do the HVAC next week so that will show complete too, then I’ll run the FDRS to complete my remaining updates.

At this time, only a dealer submitting paperwork, or an OTA will clear any CSP's showing needed.

I keep hoping they'll let FDRS start clearing it or let us submit something to clear it ourselves, but so far nothing.
