The Leviton screws need to be tightened with a #2 Robertson driver, not a straight blade in order to get proper torque. I wonder if some of the failures are related to that.I've installed both and Recommend the Hubbell or Bryant for a few reasons
1) The wire attach uses a V clamp as opposed to an open screw, thus a more secure connection.
2) Allen screw tightening mechanism vs flat head screw terminal. These terminations have to be torqued to a high level that is really hard to achieve with a flat blade screwdriver. If you google melted outlet, loose wires at the connection point a a key reason.
There are only two plusses to the cheap Leviton. It is shallower which makes fitting it in the box easier, and of course it's cheaper.

This. I'm also leery of Leviton in general because of all the problems with their cheapo unit. The Utilitech (Lowes) surface mount industrial that I had worked for 4 years without issue until I switched to hardwire. If you’re mounting it in a box, you need a flush mount regardless of how the box is mounted.
Which box would you recommend for Bryant/Hubbell? Seems like it needs a deeper one.I've installed both and Recommend the Hubbell or Bryant for a few reasons

Bryant and Hubbell are the same less some markings. The Bryant is cheaper, so I'd pick that first.Which box would you recommend for Bryant/Hubbell? Seems like it needs a deeper one.
And people are saying not all front panels fit.
Regular depth box plus an extender, and a stainless faceplate - mine is the Bryant - def recommend:Which box would you recommend for Bryant/Hubbell? Seems like it needs a deeper one.
