+1 here.
Same exact dates above.

What really burns me up are those that got delivery the past 6 weeks, received FULL PCO, then getting a refund check for MSRP drop on top of that ??????

WTF ????
Aggravating... remember to thank the railroads the next time you see a train.

3/11/22 order build date of 12/19 or 12/22 depending on website. Says still in production.
Hearing that my private offer may be off the table or lowered...hearing that others may have gotten a full private offer and a rebate because of the MSRP drop. I don't have any answers. Ugh

I am stunned that Ford would cut the PCO they promised back in 2022 just now.

Ford is playing the Elon Musk Tesla pricing ping pong.

Don't know what I am going to do.

Maybe let my order rot in Mexico where it's stuck at ??

Your private offer dropped the same amount the price of the new car dropped - so the net price you'll pay doesn't change from months ago. Ford goofed and was giving away more money than they were supposed to - so they fixed the glitch. I don't understand how you are getting screwed - because you didn't get a better deal than you agreed to?

In case you didn't notice Tesla raised prices within days of the revised guidance - it appears Ford is keeping the reduced prices in effect.

I actually don't know any of this information. (Meaning I don't know if my offer has been lowered, or the price has been changed etc. I am just going off what others are saying on the forum)

I have not been told anything about my order. I don't know if I am being screwed or not. As long as the price is what I was told it would be when they converted my order to a 2023 and provided me a private offer, I won't think I got screwed on price. Because some get lucky and ford made a rebate mistake, cool for them, slightly jealous, but not upset about that.

Where I have been screwed is placing an order on 3/11/22. Told I would get priority for build dates when they ran into problems and had to convert me to 2023. Having folks order their Mach-E in September and then take delivery in December when I was told I had priority because I had been waiting since March. Missing the tax rebate for 2022. Me sitting here with a build date of 12/19/2022 and having no information on what's really going on other than it's still in production and there may be parts issues.

That really sucks, the PCO was a nice little unintended bonus for waiting for so long on top of the price cuts
Yup, to see my certificate issued from 2022 cut by $4000 hurts!

Even hurts more for those that got very lucky and double dipped the last 2 weeks in February with BOTH full PCO and reduced pricing!

I am thinking I am going to abandon my order since Ford does not care about those that ordered so long ago....

Tired of Tesla games that Ford is now playing...

Missing the tax rebate for 2022.
As of now, as long as you're a single filer earning less than $150k or a married filer making less than $300k you still get the rebate.

I absolutely understand the frustration of waiting with no communication. However, Ford is not "playing games" on the price. They agreed to sell you a '23 with a discount to make it the same price as a '22. When Ford cut the price of a '23 they forgot about the private offer discounts and some people ended up paying less than the price of a '22 - which was not what Ford intended. They have now corrected the disparity so you sill get a '23 for the price of a '22.

They don't appear to be going after those who got more of a discount than they deserved, and are keeping the price cuts in place even though the 23's are able to get the tax incentive and Tesla has now raised prices twice.

Other than a lack of communication, what games are they playing with you?

Yep, just going to miss it on my 2022 taxes. That’s what upsets me. It would be a good year for me to take it.

Yeah, I don't agree that folks should be able to get the old full PCO even after they cut MSRP. Ford moves slow and doesn't sound like they are clawing back the over refund price cut that some folks luckily got, but I agree with timbop that I don't think anyone is owed the larger price cut if the original MSRP price was already cut. That makes no sense to me.

We all want our cake and eat it too, but when I 1st saw this, I thought this has got to be a mistake.

The games Ford has been playing is the delivery.

Dealer says it's in Mexico since 12/22/22.
Ford Chat says it's in KC, MO.

My delivery keeps getting delayed (5 times now).

If it goes into March when IRS rules on the battery credit and it's not $7500, I'll be walking away and keeping my Lightning.

During delivery, it's very clear that Ford's systems are awful, and may in fact have different information on them. People expect an Amazon/UPS/FedEx like tracking system, when in fact it's more like "Hey Fred, do you see that car in that parking lot over yonder?"

My 2021 became a 2022, and was made in mid-January, but completed production in early March. It sat in a lot in Mexico for 2 months, following Ford's FILO accounting process - First In, Last Out. In short, it seemed like I was either appointed guardian of the lot and made sure all the stragglers were out, or I was boxed in. Car finally started moving in May 2022, and was delivered in mid-May, just shy of 12 months.

I would not put a lot of faith in any of the information received. The plant was closed at least for January, so if a car wasn't finished one could surmise it sat there. If it gets to the US, there are shortages of trains and trucks. It's not uncommon for it to sit miles from a dealer without moving for a long time.

A few dealers are near the train yards and as standard practice actually pick the cars up there, as mine does here.

Wow, what an ordeal for your MME !

I just don't want to think what the MME is doing sitting in Mexico for 2 months now - will it have flat tire spots, will it have a dead 12V battery, will it get chewed by rats ????

Spoiled by the Lightning I got in 2 weeks on rail immediately shipped after built from MI to CA without a hitch.....

The ironic part is that I ordered both the MME and Lightning at the same week and got the Lightning in 3 months while the MME is going on 11 months..

What a night and day difference!

Yup. Clearly shows the difference between a plant producing lower quantities (Lightning), and immediate access to US rail and trucking, vs. a Mexico plant that has to deal more scheduling due to longer distance, etc.

Prior to Covid, vehicles sat in dealer's lots for months and months. Nobody worried about flat tire spots, dead batteries, or rats. Nothing new here.
