Our California Route 1 was delivered in October, 2022 and went for a drive up Calif Rt 1. Judy loves the car and it handled Rt 1 north of San Francisco very well.

I have the basic version of the Mach E and I still love it. It’s so good when there’s traffic here in LA (which is very often). Also, love how the OTA updates charged the feeling of the pedals and acceleration. That was something I didn’t like about the car, but it’s way smoother now!

Nice pics. I love the CR1 wheels better than what is in my GT. I know it is just my personal preference, nothing is wrong with my GT wheels but my eyes like the CR1 wheels better. Enjoy your ride.

I bought a set of Route 1 wheels and aero covers to use as winter wheels with my Premium AWD. They've been on now since December. They are definitely more efficient than the premium wheels in colder temps, particularly at freeway speeds.

@kindofblue was thinking of doing something similar...

@Boris Here's a pic of my CR-1. It's been on the PCH but I didn't have a chance to take a photo there.

Can I ask how you acquired them?

I was just thinking the other day while driving my CR1 (known as Cal-E) I wonder how many CR1’s have been on CR1…. I doubt I will even get that far west haha.

Considering this myself, especially with the lack of efficiency I found in cold iowa winter. Any ideas how much difference it makes in efficiency?

Not sure exactly how more efficient but enough at freeway speed to notice. I have studded tires on these wheels and so there's surely some range loss with the tires. Just around town at temps below freezing my range was about 190 to 200. That's with an extended range battery and only occasional preconditioning. But on a longer drive of 100 miles each way on the freeway the range was about 220. I went there and back without charging. I've made that trip now several times and confirmed that range at temps from 20 to 30.
