Thank You Mike for looking it up. I see the lied to me saying they worked on it to 6:30.
Mach-Lee, I think they needed to do it to get paid from the previous testing when they locked it up because there was no paperwork at that time. We did have the trouble codes before they replaced it both back in Sept and on the 5th. I'm the only Mach-E this dealer has ever seen. They do have a Lightening for demo. And I know they have had a engineer in to plan the Fast chargers. Even if they put the old one back in, they still have to program it again. The different computer modules have to talk to each other. Once they change any programs on other modules, they have to match. VW/Audi/Bosch started that back 30 years ago to prevent used parts market and theft reduction.
Screwing up somebody's working car for the sake of getting paid for a previous screw up...now that's FUBAR. ?‍♂

Good luck.

HCM Update - [Applies only to Premium/GT models, which have the upgraded headlights]

It appears Ford has changed everybody's As-Built data to enable high beam ramping (fader beams). Running the HCM update in FDRS should enable the feature on 2021s and 2022s without requiring FORScan.

The functionality after the HCM update is exactly the same as before with the As-Built change.

Recommend everybody gets this update, the high beams are much more pleasant with it. And it's cool/fancy.

I’m showing a new PSCM due to update. Does anyone know what this update does to the power steering.

That's the one that's supposed to enhance lane keeping and reduce ping-pong.

I still do not see an HCM on my 21J1 Prem.

After the update came out for others and there was some discussion about what it did, I checked my asbuilt and found that it was using older values, and changed them with FORSCAN to enable the ramping. I'm going to try it out tonight to see if they ramp (my Lightning does this already). I can't get into the asbuilt server this morning, so I'll have to try to see what it says later.

Poo. I prefer the more irritating high beams. ??

Ok, I got my Mach-E back this noon. Ford tech support downloaded a different version for the APIM and installed it remotely. Now the question is what version is it that enabled them to program the APIM that the dealer with FDRS couldn't do? They also claimed to update any open updates. Mike, I wonder if you could run it again and see what they actually did.

Did the change to enable HD Radio station icons do anything? I’ve yet to hear.

It sounds better to phrase it this way to a customer instead of "Dealership was doing it wrong"
Personally, I think it's their memory stick. Either formatted wrong or not getting the download correctly. Being where we are located and the primitive internet services available to us, there can be errors.

Yea, the way FDRS handles memory sticks could be WAY improved. It's better than trying to transfer a big update over CAN BUS, but still leaves a lot of pitfalls.

Sorry, 3FMTK1SS9MMA20161
They cleared out your list on the 5th of April (except the APIM):
Ford Mustang Mach-E The Complete DIY Guide to Updating Your Mach-E with FDRS 3FMTK1SS9MMA20161-11-Apr-23Work

That PMI at the end is where they tried to sort out your APIM and it didn't go well.
No programming took place on the 6th or 7th.
So on the 10th they did another PMI and check out the timestamps...whatever they were doing it only took like a couple of minutes.
Ford Mustang Mach-E The Complete DIY Guide to Updating Your Mach-E with FDRS 3FMTK1SS9MMA20161-11-Apr-23Work2

And you have no available updates in your list at the moment.
