Any guesses on what my final price will be for my 2nd re-ordered MME ?

As most of you know, my '22 Select w/ C-T MME order from April 2022 was re-ordered in August 2022 into a '23 Premium MME with a $6500 PCO + price protected rate & incentive as of August 2022.

Received news 2 days ago from my dealer as a result of a train derailment that destroyed my incoming MME, so I was issued a priority replacement (build date: 4/25/23) that shows shipped.

My question: what do you all think my final price will be with the price drops, cash incentives, and tax cut ?

Here's the timeline:
April '22 MME ordered '22 Select C-T
August '22 MME re-ordered '23 Premium SR RWD w/ PCO
April '23 MME re-ordered '23 Premium SR RWD

• Will price protections will apply on the 2nd re-ordered MME ? 4.49%, $2K Options, D&D ?
• Does price protection on my 2nd re-ordered MME get the $1300 D&D instead of $1800 ?
• Any guesses on how much the original PCO is now worth ?
• Will Ford honor the new '23.5 pricing on my incoming MME ($4K difference)?

Dealer's general manager confirmed a PCO was attached to the new replacement VIN but could not tell me details - GM admitted he does not normally look into PCO certificates and had a hard time looking up my PCO certificate.

Noticed my new window sticker has the current $1800 Delivery & Destination charge compared to my original order.

If you changed nothing, Ford should delivery you a car for the same out of pocket cost as the car that was on its way to you that burned up. It would have been received well before this price change was announced.

The Premium RWD SR price drop of $4,000 is due to the new battery. You should not receive this.

The new D&D should not apply to you.

Price Protection includes promotions going back to the August order, not the original order.

my guesses:

- since none of the delays are your fault all of the previous pricing changes and commitments (price protection, PCO, interest rate) should all hold
- ford should honor the original D&D, especially with this extra delay and inconvenience
- PCO should be the same from your august order commitment
- with current information available i would expect an additional $1,400-$2,000 price incentive drop due to new pricing structure ($4,000 overall MSRP drop but excluding the BC activation costs and maybe the new charge for the mobile charger)

Yes that's all what I was thinking would be.

Since this replacement MME is coming in standard with BC1.2 as shown on the window sticker and the mobile charge cord I would assume the $4K difference will not be honored.

Well let's see how long it actually takes to deliver since we all know about the rail delays....

At least it will arrive after my 3 week Mediterranean cruise trip to Europe....

I think they will honor what you would have paid had your original December-built car arrived without incident. I do not think you will get '23.5 pricing, but I'd bet they'd be willing to add on the "bonus cash" for all you've been through.

I'd try to find a way to get @Ford Motor Company involved, and perhaps the media. Your story is interesting. Making you happy is a good story and great PR for Ford and the MME.

i haven't had nearly as much excitement ? on my order as you but my sept 26, 2022 order received the APR from order date (without actually having applied for credit at the time) and also received a $2k rebate on top of the january price adjustments.

i still think ford should honor the $1,300 D&D for your original order as a goodwill gesture on top of your PCO and the $2k rebate + price adjustments.
