I usually only have to DC Fast Charge once every month or two but I'll have to admit it isn't as smooth as I'd like when I have to and I can't fully trust it. Hopefully this update helps!

‘22 Premium, EA waitlisted.

Got this update last night, still on 4.2.5 so no luck like others who got 4.2.6 and then this one.

First time this has happened to us, we got the 'update failed' error. Not sure why, tried installing several times. Already tried it manually in the car and last night at 1am it automatically tried again. I just checked the connected vehicle log and this is what is showing: Any ideas???

Your vehicle did not meet the preconditions for installation. Try driving for an hour or so to ensure your 12v battery charge is not too low, then immediately try manually installation.

It gets driven over 140 miles a day lol so wonder if this is a hint the battery could be going bad.....was replaced at 27k, currently at 76k.

If you tried to install immediately after a drive that long, then I agree, that doesn't sound good for the 12v battery.

I wonder if the 12V gets used as much as a traditional ICE would? Seems they would last longer, assuming they do not get used for the starter to turn the motor like an ICE ?‍♂ ?

It is smaller than one in a ICE. And it powers all accessories when the car is not on.

If the update never goes through will that stop other OTA to come in? And if this was explained somewhere else I apologize, were at 28m/76k of no OTA issues ? and for anyone who reads this that has had problems, I empathize with you especially if you have a dealer that is not helpful!

Try doing the BMS learned values reset and then go for a drive to see if that helps fully recharge the 12V battery.

What is the BMS learned value reset? How is that done? The vehicle is driven 140+ miles each day.

Here's how to do that:
Before leaving for your drive, get in and push the start button without putting your foot on the brake. This puts you in accessory mode. Then flash the high beams 5 times, and then tap the brake pedal 3 times and look for the battery symbol on the instrument panel to cycle about 3 times. After it does, press the start button again to shut the car off. Then start the car as normal and drive off and your 12V battery will get topped off properly.
