Interesting, I canceled my reservation with the announcement of no 40k truck. If I'm going to spend over 100k it isn't going to be on a 1st year BEV truck. I guess buying the 1st year MME was the best EV deal for awhile.

Yes I bought from Woody Anderson, sales is great, service department continues to be an issue. I truly dread taking it in as it never gets fixed the first time and then follow up is hopeless. Must be good to have built in monopoly...

$80k..... for a work truck. The range is nice, but I'm disappointed by the rest of it.

The sea of plastic interior is a throwback to GM interiors from 25 years ago. That's almost forgivable, but no midgate (literally the only reason to have a 1-piece body IMO) is not. The spare tire mechanism means you can't have a spare if you increase tire size.

Too much of a Chevy Avalanche vibe for me.

The ridiculously long range is due to the huge 213 kWh (useable) battery. That's why it's $80K for a work truck.

Super big batteries are a terrible idea... Vehicles weigh too much and cost too much accordingly.

For the next decade, connecting the dots of >300 miles of range, <$40K, and "Truck" is magical thinking. you can have any two.
