The oddest thing happened this morning...

Before I left the house this morning, I remote-started the car. Went out to the garage, got in, drove to work, and everything was normal. I get to work, park, shut the car down, and ("thunk, thunk") the frunk opens all by itself! What the heck?! Has anyone else ever had this happen?

Hi there, I'd be happy to look into your Mach-E concerns on my end. Will you send us a message with your VIN and dealership info? I can look into things on my end.

I'm betting your Ford Pass App was open on your phone in your pocket and the open frunk button was "pressed" by something in your pocket.

Nope. App closed. Phone on seat. I see I've started a yuk-fest, but I would appreciate it if anyone else has ever heard of this happening.

Did you do anything with the door keypad? Were you carrying a fob?

Also let's not rule out ghosts

Does anyone else have your FordPass login that may have accidentally hit it? My wife and I just use the same FordPass ID for both vehicles. I have a couple times started her MME instead of my truck because I was rushing and didn't notice I was on the wrong vehicle.

Otherwise no I haven't heard of frunk issues. I think some have claimed their back hatch opened without being directed and it damaged the hatch on their garage door, so at least some issues in the same area.

No and yes. I have PAAK and a fob. I only set up PAAK to get access to the Frunk Button. I never use it exclusively.

I don't believe in ghosts. Long story.
