What don’t like about full autonomous is that the vehicle will not speed. Or at least it shouldn’t.

personally wherever I drive, most drivers exceed the speed limit by at least 10%. Will autonomous do this? Or will it maintain the speed limit while everyone else is passing you?

mid you can’t maintain the speed of the balance of traffic I think I would never use self driving.

Probably. The Adaptive Cruise Control allows you to set a delta on the speed to stay a certain number of mph above or below the posted speed.

I stayed with the premium myself because of the light interior and black trim. Posted it on here a long time ago. But that is just my preference for myself.

thats my combo as well...

I have an unconverted reservation for this exact MME (Rapid Red Metallic, X4, light interior) and seeing it up close from Alex's review has got me *really* wondering if I've made a terrible mistake by opting to reserve a GT instead.

It is detailed in the owner manual. Seat will slid back (exit) but steering wheel is manual.

Gotta draw the line on cost (thus price) somewhere. And weight. That huge battery pack is already costly and heavy.

Each extra feature is cool, but comes at a compromise.

How similar is this option to Tesla’s FSD? Considering Tesla is charging $7,000USD and $10,000 CAD.

No not like FSD however a better version than Tesla Autopilot .. (well should be better) when I use Autopilot on my model 3 it’s a PITA keeping my hands on the wheel and damm phantom breaking,
So base on what I am hearing about this system and it’s truly hands free will be a much better experience..

Completely different. This is basically just adaptive cruise control that also lets you take your hands off the wheel on premapped highways. It’s similar to Cadillac‘s Super Cruise.

no it’s more like Tesla autopilot.. adaptive cruise will not make turns and avoid road conditions.. the mapping systems allows for all that .

For anyone that does not know .. Tesla Autopilot is nothing more than, Cadillac‘s Super Cruise, Ford Co-pilot etc.. and Tesla Autopilot or FSD does not support hands free driving .. however do not confuse FSD that supports lane changes on freeway and local street driving .. and remember with both Tesla systems you still need to your hands on the wheel ..

So for me going from Tesla Autopilot to Ford hands free Co-pilot should be a major improvement.. but can’t say just yet until I experience it too..

Those two items don't need electrical assist since they are adjusted only when needed. If that is your deal breaker, then you are not very smart. Ford did it correctly and prevented adding pricy items.

The way I read that is the software is $600 and the service fee isn't mentioned. I always presumed the "service fee" it is referring to is the wireless connectivity (needed for maps and traffic anyway). Maybe I am mistaken?

The fact that he bought one leads me to believe it will be a favorable review.

Since Alex's car will be delivered in "mid to late December", he likely reserved and ordered his at the earliest dates possible. Far earlier than he was able to review the car.
