Real nice ? review by Alex .. very detailed... this video may not be for Tesla Fan Boys lol

this is good. Some small nits with it, in particular when he talks about the Sync piece (it's not hard to look up the relationship with the new F-150 system, only covering CarPlay instead of also Android Auto)... but overall quite good.

Here is a video I just found on youtube. Giving the producer credit. It is a very nice driver view without narratives.

That's the first time I've heard the horn. I hate the wimpy horn sound that seems to come with Japanese cars. The Mach-E sounds like a standard Ford horn, which is fine by me.

My main worry is depreciation. From what I've seen they expect 50% minimum for 3 years. Ouch! Any thoughts?
I don’t think so .. it’s not like Ford is making and selling 500k plus of this car in 3 years, depreciation will be better than most Ford products, IMO 35% over 3 years and remember $10+k of that will be incentive not your money, so overall for you will not be as much .. at the end of the day I would buy and drive what I really like and enjoy than something just to have a little bit better trading value..

also if the car turns out to be solid as I expect it should be ..owning it for 8-10 years now because a real option .. unlike ICE cars you want to swap out after 4 years or so to avoid future repair cost .. This BEV if it turns out to be solid no need to do all that every 3-4 years just keep it for 8-10+ years .. by then a ton more options will be available..

Great find!

Looks like the car drives amazing with terrific acceleration. In his description, he says 0-60 in 4.5s but I didn't see any launches despite how the video is indexed.

My FOMO is growing.

this is a very good video.

this and the Alex on Autos video appear to be exactly the same car in exactly the same place, probably part of the media tour in CA?

the overall sound feel of the car is just wonderful. Puts a lot of other cars to shame.

I wish the "click" sound of the volume knob wasn't quite so ... cheap sounding.

Not 100% thrilled with the turn signal sound but that's a very stupid thing to complain about, I fully admit.

lol at the two blatant red light runners at about 5:55.

The propulsion sound doesn't quite sound right to me but it's close enough that I can see myself having it on for the audible cue it gives to me as a driver, even though you could argue it's a little cheesy.

I'm not sure how I feel about the suspension. We'll see what I think when I can drive it. It might be a reason to go with the GT with the MagneRide suspension later on.

It's nice to see the "put your hands on the wheel" warnings present as they do. FWIW I don't know how many people know this but Ford's been doing that for some time - my 2013 Fusion has a similar warning. Ask me how I know. ?

At about 15:00 a message comes up that later in the video is clear enough to be read as saying that the wireless phone charging has stopped. I am curious if it's because of the phone being full or because it actually moved too much on the pad? ? asking because if it's too finicky (some Qi chargers are for sure) then that might be an issue. Also, the title is "charging terminated" which sounds very drastic... ?

shh ? nobody tell the real popo about the part at 17:30 ??

agree. although I wish an OTA let us update it ?. (I'm sure there's legal issues around that.)

Loved this video as well - and this was my first take-away too. I really wish we had a more digital sound for the turn signals that matched the propulsion sounds.

Speaking of the Engaged sound, I hope Ford takes the opportunity to have some fun with OTA updates for this. I'd love to have this sound be able to be changed to the interior engine sound of famous Mustang models. I loved the sound of my 03' Roush with the side pipes right outside the door and while I wouldn't want it all the time, I think it would neat for an option. Am I the only one on this?

Maybe even have different themes for the screens when other models are selected. The non-EV Mustangs do that for the different drive modes I believe. I'm sure there has been a thread about this already and if so, my apologies.

I doubt it. The horn is literally that, a horn that when you push on the steering wheel it closes the contact and sounds the horn. The only way to change the sound is changing the horn physically. I doubt they complicated their lives by putting a speaker.

The horn does sound very much like a normal off the shelf Ford horn, however there is an exterior speaker to produce the pedestrian alert sound.

Since that is now required by law perhaps they did not install a horn and just re-used the pedestrian alert sound system to make the horn noise.

There is an outside sound at low speed but it is independent of the propulsion sounds played inside.
