I AM in EA and I just got 4.2.1 yesterday! It's actually just the third OTA update I've gotten in the last 18 months. Maybe I'll get caught up one of these years...
Have you tried logging in to see if you're still in EA? Sometimes they'll cull folks without notice.

If you park on a level surface the parking brake will engage without notifying you (post a certain update). It will also disengage when you shift out of park.

If you park on enough of an incline the parking brake will engage and notify you. When you shift out of park it will not disengage though.
Apparently not for all cars.

My car has the equivalent of all the updates including 6.6.0 applied through FDRS.

I paid real close attention just now as I parked in my level garage. I came to a stop using the brakes. Put the car in park, waited a couple seconds and took my foot off the brake. The car rocked back and forth on the parking pawl after I removed my foot from the brake. It would not rock if the parking brake was engaged.

If I park on an incline the parking brake engages and the light says so. When I shift out of park all I have to do is touch the accelerator and the parking brake is released automatically.

Yes, this appears to be a config change, not a specific module version since lots of cars with the same updates are still behaving differently. I bet there’s an as-built value somewhere that can be changed with FORScan.

I don't know enough about the update process to know if this is possible, is a config change sent out in an OTA that applies the power train updates that is not applied using FDRS updating the same modules?

In other words had I waited for 6.6.0 and it updated my PCM, ABS, BECM, SOBDM, and SOBDMC, would I have different behavior than what I got through using FDRS to update the same modules?

I have only got 2 OTA. 4.1.2 and 6.1.0. Every other update to my car has been through FDRS.

It’s possible. But a lot of people got this new behavior well before the 6.x.x updates were pushed, so it may have been in a separate config update pushed a while ago. The behavior of mine never changed, so I don’t really know.

Leaving the car on for 6 hours got it up to 95%, but still did not push the update.
Your problem is that you need to disconnect CarPlay/AA and unplug all USB devices and cables from the ports before attempting the update. Also make sure you manually turn off the headlights if you haven't had the headlight switch replaced for the headlight bug. Hit update, immediately shut off the car, and exit.

Unplugging USB devices applies to 6.1-6.3 updates only, not sure why we're talking about this on the 6.6 topic...

Bingo. Config change for Hold & Apply only happens with the OTA, not with FDRS.

Your OTA failed on Oct 22 and that was it. You haven't had another trigger since then, so there's nothing for your car to install currently (despite what it says on the screen). 6.2.0 is on hold still. I'm telling you about the USB stuff for next time when it eventually shows up again. You will know you have another install chance when the notification pops up and the "Update Now" button becomes enabled again. There's nothing you can do until that time but wait.

I think doing a factory reset let the 6.2 update go through. I now see a Alexa icon on the top bar that was not there before.
Nope, Alexa was in the previous version, you just reset everything so the icon shows up again by default. Check your version, 6.2.0 is 23237:

Forum,

1. Just checking the 21's are still "stuck" on 6.1.0?

2. Did anyone else receive a recall letter in the mail this weekend (Customer Satisfaction Program 23B50)? Says it will be fixed via OTA and just have your OTA's turned on.

3. Have they moved the section where you tell your car when it is scheduled to self start you want it Cool, Medium or Hot? Where is that now??
