Yes..I understand. And still I have far greater success in getting updates installed and avoiding the always low 1 AM SOC on the 12V battery by having my Check Updates time setting to 0900 in the morning.The only updates that use the schedule are ones that disable the car during update. That can’t happen while your driving.
This works for me. It's way beyond time for Ford to change this default setting to something like noon everyday or something other than 1AM when you are virtually guaranteed to have a low 12V battery.
This default 1AM setting is the very definition of insanity. A close second is telling people on the Ford site and in FordPass that connecting your car to your home Wi-Fi will help downloads when we all know that is patently false.
