FordPass Update last night?

Only getting the spinning circle on my phone. Unable to get any info or connect to the car. Unable to charge the car on my L2 home charger that has worked fine for years. There is a message on the app home screen to Activate FORDPASS CONNECT, but the button does nothing while the spinning arrow is there. There is also a triangle exclamation point that says "Optimize Phone as a Key". My Phone as a Key has been working great for 2 years. Now, nothing on the app is working. Fortunately my key fob still works. The spinning circle has been there for over 30 minutes. Any suggestions? Uninstall and reinstall Fordpass?

I'd just rule out the app all-together for a bit. The not charging would be far more concerning to me. Are there any messages in the car when you connect? Are there any charge times set in the car?

Side note, how's your Kona?

I'd restart the APIM first. (volume down, next track, on the wheel)

The Optimize Phone As a Key is due to FordPass requiring certain settings for PaaK, and later versions of the app leading you by the nose to turn them on.

Don't know why you can't charge your car - plug it in. Then tell it to charge IN THE CAR.

Have you tried rebooting the phone, then ensuring you have the current version of FordPass?

The car showed Plugged In, not charging. Yes, I have charge times set for TOU, but last night the charging stopped about 1 am, had not yet reached the 95% charge level. When I checked this morning is when I noticed the problems with the app that I wanted to use to check the charge level.
There is a manual start charge button on the wall charger that did not work when I first posted, but just worked now. Whew! When my wife drives the Mach E to work in a little while, I will see how the Kona charges. Thanks for that. The Mach E is above 60%, so she has plenty for today.

Rick, the phone reboot worked to restore the app functions. thank you for that suggestion. Connect Activation button is gone, refresh only takes a few seconds, location shows accurately. The Battery Charge Logs list shows my manual charge for a few minutes this morning, but not the one last night that stopped itself. Version is 4.24.3 - is that the latest?

App store will tell you the latest version. That sounds right.

Plugged in last night, should have started TOU charging at 9 pm. I forgot to check it. This morning, no charge had been added at all. After trying manual bypass on my wall charger and telling the FORDPASS app to start charging now - no joy. @RickMachE suggestion to start charging IN THE CAR came back to me, so I took a look. Somehow the location based TOU had been changed (not by me!) to start charging at 8 am. I changed the setting back to charging between 9 pm and 4 pm and the charging started up! How often am I going to have to do this? Sometimes I think Coders get in the way by adding unwanted features! My TOU settings had worked for 2 years, charging overnight. Now, I have turned off TOU and just set the allowed charge times manually in the car.

The FordPass app on my iPhone crashed for the first time this morning.
Restarted the app, it worked for a while then suddenly all of my car information on the screen blanked out to ----
Restarted the phone and everything is back now.
