Seen on Wednesday night at the local Tesla store in Chicago. They were closed at the time, but I’ll stop by today or tomorrow to take more pics. Quality of the class A surfaces look good. Gaps are consistent and seem pretty tight.
It’s still a very polarizing design. I personally think it looks butt ugly, but beauty is subjective.
Update:
Store was busy and had a short line of people who had to provide contact info to get in. According to the salesperson I spoke to, official announcement is scheduled for Nov 30, when Elon will talk about pricing, specs, availability, etc.
Looking at it in person, quality is like I described earlier. In the right light, the C-pillar seemed a bit scuffed / probably polished several times. The size of the windshield is enormous. The dimensions seem a bit off to me (cartoonish looking).
