Was DCFC’ing, error does not disappear after reset or idle time. Were you DC fast charging that day?
Did the error disappear after a restart, or the next day?
@Mach-Lee would you be able to check as Mike suggests? Was DCFC’ing, error does not disappear after reset or idle time.
The powertrain fault is being set by the P2C95 code in the SOBDM. That code is closely related to this SSM: https://www.macheforum.com/site/thr...-mil-and-dtc-p2c94-stored-in-the-sobdm.29237/@Mach-Lee would you be able to check as Mike suggests?
Ah okay...Probably hit the update button 10 times. Same screen pops up.
The update has been failing repeatedly because of a low 12V battery. I see it has been really low in the past few days, down to 33% at one point. The battery capacity is also low, so there might be some kind of unresolved 12V drain or something causing chronic degradation. Make sure any dash cams are unplugged. 12V definitely needs a fully reconditioning charge or else it needs to be replaced. My neighbor keeps getting UpdatePostponed. Can you look up his pts for errors

We put a battery charger on the car. Also drove around for an hour. He just plugged inAh okay...
I but a charger on the battery shows 12.7 volts. He also drove it around for 1 hour. 2 days ago. I told him to put his garage home charger on and leave it on over night. The update has been failing repeatedly because of a low 12V battery. He needs to follow this to charge the 12V enough to do the update:
How To Get Failed OTAs To Install
And remove drains / recondition the 12V battery:

So what I'm finding is that some battery chargers don't actually charge the battery past 80% even though they show 100% full. The highest you got it was like 68%. When the charger thinks the battery is done, it needs to output 13.5V+ for an additional 3+ hours to fully charge the battery enough. Having the car charge itself for 6-10 hours continuously seems to work better. We put a battery charger on the car. Also drove around for an hour. He just plugged in

Maybe a silly question, but I don't know these vehicles well. With the ICE trucks, resetting the BMS after charging the battery has proven to help these type of OTAs go through. Do these vehicles have a similar system that can be reset after charging the 12V battery? So what I'm finding is that some battery chargers don't actually charge the battery past 80% even though they show 100% full. To recondition the battery, it needs to be held at 13.6V for a good 48 hours continuously. It's a slow process.
