Yeah that. That's one time I wish we had more moderation on here. Rules such as:
  • Don't talk about a different OTA than the one the topic is about
  • Don't whine about not getting X OTA yet
  • Don't take the OTA thread way off topic
On some OTA topics, only a small percentage of the posts are actually about the OTA. Seems like some people just randomly choose an OTA topic to post in.

The mirror posts are getting as bad as the "where'd my range go" posts last year.
You mean I can’t whine about still being on 4.2.5, bummer.

My GT does not have BC or the driver facing camera. I am soooo glad because I would absolutely hate, hate the eye nanny. Hate!

I also have the metal roof which I also really appreciate, especially in the winter.
I LOVE it! It gives me a warm fuzzy feeling to know that my Mach E is lovingly staring into my eyes. It's so attentive, and it shows that it has eyes only for me!

Even with the CMR update I still get these DTCs for the CMR everyday. I guess they didn't fix that....
CMR_DTC.png
Pardon my ignorance - relatively new user (and new owner of a Mach-E here) - how do I see this screen for my car? Or is this part of the "FDRS" I keep seeing referenced (seems like a $1k software package for dealers to look up car status?).

My new 2023 GPTE is at 4.2.3 and I'm still trying to wrap my head around the version updates - looks like some people are as high as 6.[something] - not sure if my car is still catching up or if it's because I'm not part of early access and the 6 series is EA only?

Uh, while I'm also intruding: what is this "speedo" everyone is talking about? :)

If you only drove in straight lines and never turned the wheel…….

The steering wheel itself obscures the CMR sensors.
Yes, I've also had those DTCs'.... Bill P

I'm on 6.2 and my speedo is still in the center. I don't use any drivers aids.
It's moved in 6.8.
I just got 6.3 while driving (Which funny enough, gave me a random 'bong bong'.)

Ford Diagnostic and Repair System (FDRS) is actually a free download. Licensing can be had for a weekend, a month, or a year. The license is what costs. Additionally, there is hardware that is needed to support communication with the car and supplying power to the car (which retails for ~$1.2K), plus the use of a Windows laptop PC. ??

The “speedometer” (aka “speedo”) is the speed indicator. ??

You sure? Because I though it was already mentioned the the 23.5 already had theirs this way the whole time. we just have the luxury of getting it now. If it is a bug, that is a long time to ignore it.

The 23.5s could be setting the same “feature” from the factory. We’ll just have to wait to see if Ford addresses it.

I don’t think you are ever getting that one back.

I use adaptive cruise control pretty much everywhere so I don’t mind it too much. I do agree with you and others though that it could be done so much better and really should center the speed for all of us.
Personally, I don't look at the actual speed that much. The traffic around me determines what speed I'm going.

Speed Limit 65 and everyone going 75 with a few 80+. I'm going ~75 with the flow of traffic.

As long as I'm not impeding traffic, I'm good.

/don't really need a giant car either. Put a matchbox car and the speedo next to it in the middle...

//Or the speedo ON TOP of the car's roof
