As I have a 2021 job 1 with blue cruise 1.0 and as it currently is I would not be willing to pay (600) 200/year. I was hoping to see Blue Cruise 1.3 before this offer expired, there is no way in h3ll I'd ever pay 800 a year for something that can only be used on limited sections of some highways near me, and no parkways. I just do not do enough highway driving to justify the expense for something that only sort of works sometimes.

I just bought my pony last month and I paid $800/year for BC. Still worth it for me, but doesn't seem fair. I wonder if I call Ford if they would extend that offer to me.

The "special offer" only applies to the first batch of MME's that were supposed to have BC but did not because the software wasn't ready. Since it was already documented as an included feature, Ford knocked $600 off the price of the car and made us sign an indemnification that we were OK with taking the cars at that time without the feature. Later, when the software became available they couldn't get away with charging us $2400 when their own paperwork valued the feature at $600. The nice thing they did as compensation was to give us an extended trial when the feature came out, but in the time I've owned the car I've been without BC longer than I've had it.

No they won't extend the offer to you, especially since you already signed an agreement and paid the money.

Any idea what the new blue cruise is supposed to fix/add? I got the same offer as OP for my job 1 2021. I don't really use the current iteration of blue cruise but might be worth spending the $600 in case I want to sell in the future

I couldn't agree more about 1.2. It's a cute little feature, but it definitely doesn't inspire trust as it hugs the right side of the lane and disconnects at random times. I've used it enough over the last 2 years to know that I won't miss it.

Take rate is going to be important, vote with your dollar, you know that any variation of BC isn’t worth 800 a year. Refuse to subscribe, demonstrate to Ford that it’s worth something, sure, but not what they are asking for.

Anyone know if we can pay for this with Fordpass rewards points? Those things are basically useless for me and I would like to not let them waste. Also this is $600 for 3 years correct? And not $600/yr with a 3 year commitment right?

Buy the SiriusXM codes. Then list them on eBay. They are $50 for 10k points.

That's what I did and they sold in less than an hour.

Is there a deadline on getting the $600/3year deal? I can't figure out if that will be available to me January 1, or if it changes to $800/year on that day. The limited time offer of it all is acting as some leverage against me.

It’s kinda funny to see peeps with 1.2 complaining. The shit show us Job1’s have endured is magnitudes worse than anything they’ve had to deal with. And we didn’t even have it for year or more after purchasing the car.

I just re-upped at the $600/3 rate since I have a 2021 Job 1.

However I noticed the offer was listed as ONE TIME.

So unless Ford comes to their senses, I’ll give it up in 3 years. I’m never going to pay $800/yr. I wouldn’t even pay $75 for one month when going on a roadtrip.

Also it looked like if you qualify but let your free trial lapse, you can’t get the offer anymore. So watch out.

Yeah, fun enough I haven’t gotten this mail. I was planning on lapsing and buying in March or April when it made sense rather than the 4 months I don’t really need BC.

I have the $600 offer. It’s not worth it. Lane centering is free. BC is hands off but in practice, it’s unsafe to keep hands off, especially in a highway bend/turn. $2400 or $600, either way it’s an expense for something that is almost identical to the free features.
