We're easily looking at 2000€ here. Not worth the money I think..I think it will be way cheaper to have them primed and painted properly

One goes from 200 to 400$ and you need 4, plus the bottom door panels .....
I am sure a good body shop will do a piano black paint prep for around maybe 1000€
As far as PAAK, I haven't had many issues with it myself. I have a mid 2023 model. I use a iPhone. I find there are times that it doesn't work right away. The worst thing I had to do is open the ford pass app and then the doors were able to be unlocked. I don't carry my keys with me ever. I also never had to use the door keypad. It is nice to know it is there though.Bonsoir Anders!
I didn't know that this was that common. I did get a VIN, unfortunately track&trace doesn't work on the ford website (wrong order number or VIN), although FordPass does recognize the VIN and associates it with a Mach-E. According to my dealer the car is indeed in Antwerp, Belgium (ironically I'm originally from Belgium). I honestly don't understand how it's possible that it takes over 2 months to get a car from Belgium to Spain, I mean, it's just 2000km all highways. It takes a truck 2 days.... I think they have so little orders that they group transport, which is why it's taking that long.
As for the PaaK, I know we have the door code, but if I wanted to open the car using the code I would just use that. If a phone can be used to unlock if you are in the proximity, I expect it to just work. Door code is good as a backup, but that's not what I need initially. It's like having to manually operate automatic windshield wipers.
When did you order your MME?
Oh, nice. That’s just hours away. Real countdown can start."Should" be here by thursday or friday ....
And you?
I think I would have cancelled. Actually, if they start playing the delay game, I may be tempted to do so, as I will have too much time to think things through, as it wasn’t a bargain at all ?You’re lucky you didn’t buy in 21-22. I ordered in Sept 22, delivery date just kept moving starting from February til I finally picked up the last day of May.
Us too. Glad we got the GTPE in end of Oct 2021 before the snow hit us. After all this time its still a awesome ev to drive. Styling wise believe its going to be unaltered for years. A timeless design like the 2011 Kia Optima SX we bought that looked new for 11 years. Very subtle changes and it worked. You’re lucky you didn’t buy in 21-22. And that's what we finally did. We cancelled our Mach-E and ordered a Tesla Model Y. Got a 5k stock discount, if the car was paid and picked up before Dec 31st. As I was/am abroad myself, my brother in law picked it up last Friday, and it's waiting at my place till I get back. My brother in law is in the car business and did a thorough inspection when picking it up, so far so good.I'm getting more and more fed up with all this crap. Maybe I should just cancel it, and get a Tesla after all.
Both are excellent ev. We have a 2021 GTPE and 2023 Model Y AWD long range 20 rims custom midnight silver paint. Good luck with the Y you wont be disappointed. And that's what we finally did. Happy to have a new car, although a bit sad too that it aint a MME, as I liked the community.
Good luck and many enjoyable rides to all of you.
