I can't remember for sure, but my guess is the lines are there anytime the lane keeping system is active. There are many many YouTube videos of the Mach-E's instrument cluster from 2021 and onward so you could check there to verify.

Yeah it certainly could be. I think 6.8.0 tweaked the instrument cluster software. There may be differences in how backlighting works which could impact contrast.

Yes the vertical lines showing up all the time is new. They mean it has detected lane lines or a road edge.

Does it always show both or it can show one of them if the other one is not detected?

I’m really baffled at the order of updates and am curious if the group can tell me if I’ve ‘missed’ an update.

2023 Premium ER AWD built in October 2022 (took delivery in Dec 2022)

I’ve gotten a whole slew of updates over the past couple of weeks including two just today:

My question is whether my lack of 6.4.0, 6.5.0, and especially 6.6.0 is a cause for concern? From my understanding, 6.6.0 contains the resolution for the 23B50 program.

I’ve never seen anyone mention on the forums getting an older update after a newer one, although I understand the strange nature of the version numbering not really meaning much given the different systems affected by the various updates.

Updates can come out of order, and you won’t get the same updates as 2021-2 vehicles because yours is a 23. So nothing is wrong with yours. Check your VIN or FordPass to see if you need 23B50.

I do need the 23B50 fix: I got the letter in the mail, it’s listed in FordPass, etc. That’s partially why I’m curious about receiving virtually every other update recently, except the one that Ford felt strongly enough about to send actual letters in the mail about.

I’ll be patient and wait for 6.6.0 or whatever ends up fixing that particular issue. As it is, my family is already wondering why I’m so excited every time I turn on the car to see if yet another update is ready :-D

I have a Not Successful 6.2.1 and the Update Now button is grayed out. Quick search of the forum doesn't show a solution to this that I can find. Anybody have any ideas I can try at home?

I got that same 6.2.1 not complete on 11/22. Stayed that way for almost 3 weeks ( was driven daily during that time and verified 12v was over 90% SOC daily). Then on 12/12 it went away and did the unnumbered update for a second time. Nothing since.
I have a 2021 job 1 in EA. Used to always get the updates pretty early in the cycle. But since 6.1.0 on October 1st, nothing except the unnumbered update twice (Nov 11, and December 12th).

Was out running errands today. 2023 GT was at -PLO then went to -PS then went to 6.13.0. Two updates in one day has never happened before this. Updated poll.
