These are stacking up on the Cadi' dealer lots in Scottsdale. They might actually outnumber the MME's on Ford lots around here.

Almost nobody wants the Tech or Lux/Sport 1 trims without SuperCruise and premium audio, etc. Who is paying $60K+ for such a feature-less car?

Even Lexus with the RZ450e is offering $15K in lease incentives and dealers are discounting. A $62K EV suddenly becomes low-40s. Yes the range sucks but the car is fully loaded and silent/comfortable.

REALLY like the Lyriq and want to bite but the resale value on my Mach-E is atrocious. Never owned a car that dropped so much in 1 year. I'm getting $26000 offers from the online services and CarMax for a GTP with 12k in pristine condition. That's insane honestly and I'm better off keeping it until it explodes with that depreciation. $70k new to $26k?????? Nope.

The Lexus is just too inefficient to justify even with the incentives Lexus is offering and the new "updated" version likely won't be any more efficient.

You might want to check Carvana. Not saying it will enough that you will want to change your mind, but I am sure it will be a lot better than that.

You want one worse? My friend's 23 Audi e-tron GT was such a pile of dung with rattles and QC issues (power loss - was due to brake servo) that he decided to dump it after his lemon buyback claim was denied. 6 months ago it was $108K new and he got offers in the $50K range!!! Yes Audi is offering $30K in incentives now and even then... they sit.

Yeah, and not taking a loss and then going into a LYRIQ which will likely tank as well. I'm just gonna pass at this point. I love my GT-P actually so it is what it is.

As a second or third car for the city - the range is decent - and the EV is well appointed. I test drove one last month and it makes the Mach-E look like a Toyota in comparison.

The highway range is ATROCIOUS though - along with slow DC charging.

I rarely drive my Mach-E more than 200 miles in day and rare even over 150 miles so the RZ450e would be fine in my case with a gas SUV for road trips.

Oh the Lyriq will tank hard. My friend with a 23 DE is thinking of upgrading to an EV9 and trade in values are $40K for a car that was $59K only 6 months ago.

The GTPE is more fun. The Lyriq is very much a boat like the Ioniq 5. Nice quiet highway cruiser but not overly engaging.

Yeah I read the reviews and saw the 70mph highway range tests and the results of the test were horrible. I love Lexus and I had one before I got my Mach E. So I'm really disappointed with the half-hearted effort with the RZ. And some reviews mentioned that after two DCFC sessions, the vehicle limits you to 7kw if you try to charge again within a certain time frame. The RZ just shows how much contempt Toyota has for EVs. I want to see them come back with a much better effort.

Well, LYRIQ losing 30% of its value isn't as bad as my Mach-E losing 60%. But I'm sure the LYRIQ will tank too. The 23 DE was loaded and that's what people are waiting for deliveries on.

Might be better to buy a one year old Lyric. Good discount , let someone else take the hit.
