Note also that any updates to modules done via FDRS either by a dealer or an enthusiast will not increment the OTA version you have in FordPass. So, if you’re relying on that now that the dealer has updated some modules in your car the car is at a higher revision level than FordPass thinks it’s at. ??

I have an F150, so my screen is different. Sorry, I don't know the answer to your question. I would assume any changes to the touchscreen would require an APIM update which is not needed to get BC 1.4 working.

Edit: The BC 1.4 I have is not the official Ford release. However, 7.0.0 does not include an APIM update, so if I had to guess, there will not be new icons with the initial release of it.

Hi! Just want to check and see if my car is up to date. Not too techy so I'm not sure really where to look for my versions etc. On my car it just says the software is up to date, but doesn't give me any versions or anything. Same with my app on my phone.
I've had it for about 2 years and don't think I've ever been notified of an update on my app or car. Hopefully they just automatically have been downloading/updating.

Just had it at the dealership for a recall but they didn't say anything about any software updates.

It is only available with FDRS for now. No one has reported it getting OTA in any forum I follow which is a few.

Yes, but the the FORScan changes needed are not public knowledge and will not be public knowledge until Ford officially releases the update.

I would need @Mike G to confirm that your car is in OTA purgatory since I am not well versed the the history of the MME, but your car is on Sync 21180 and that is the same software it left the factory with when it was built in July of 2021. Your OTA history is blank and your Sync software is from 2021.

Yeah all they did was the powertrain updates on the 16th. Left everything else.

That GWM (gateway) update is the key to getting newer updates to show up and they didn't do that one.

When you talk to the service advisor and ask about the OTA history...and they say there isn't any (no updates for the last 60 days)...and yet you're still way behind on your Sync revision as an example....that's a reason to start diagnosis for not receiving OTAs...as a warranty repair concern.
