It is interesting to me that 6.6.0 + the latest Voldemort update seems to be the stopping point for my car, lately. Makes me wonder if problems were discovered with 6.7.0 and greater that made the team stop pushing updates? Not a big deal, really. Just surprised me that they went on a roll with pushing my car up to this build and then...nothing more. (Yes, I am in the EA and I double-checked that my car is still registered for it.)
OTAs were suspended for the Christmas - New Year's holiday. Those getting them now had already been sent before the shutdown. I'd expect to see some start pushing next week.

I believe that. I was also surprised by how I was more or less in sync with ChasingCoral's car as we both seemed to be receiving the updates at the same cadence. Again, NBD, truly. Just surprises me to see the way these updates get pushed out.

And yes, it was very smart for them to halt all OTAs for the holidays. I don't blame them a bit for that. :)

I think you should try to eliminate the cold as a factor by plugging in and running a departure time, and then see if you still get the 11 bars or not. These cars do not like the cold and limit power if the battery is not warmed up prior to leaving.
Just got back from a few days away. The car was in jail again. Drove around a bit, no change. Left it for a few hours and then drove again. When I left I had 11 bars, at some point during my 3 mile drive they disappeared and went back to my normal 4 or 5. No charging, plugging in, or departure times at all.

It’s parked outside again tonight, we’ll see if they’re back in the morning.

Did another test yesterday. The car was out overnight and had the persisting 11 jail bars. Went for a few drives, no change. Pulled the car into try garage and plugged it in. It charges for a little over an hour on a 9kWh charger and it added 13%. When I unplugged and turned the car on the jail bars were down to a normal level.

I will have to look for these bars. I park outside and only plug in my car when it gets down to 30% charge or below. When it's cold out I almost always remote start my car. I have never noticed the bars before but it's a small feature so probably just glossed over it with the other info in that corner.

I have not gotten 6.6.0 yet, for some reason my OTAs skipped over it.

I have also had this experience since updating to 6.6.0. I’m in a garage at night so my morning drive has a normal number of bars (based on SoC) but when I’m leaving work and the temps are around freezing or below I will have around 11 jail bars too. Today it took about 20 minutes of driving to get them to go away, more time when it’s colder. I never had anything like this last winter

That’s good to know it’s happening to other people. For me I have to drive for hours to get them to clear.

Had the stuck jail bars again today. Car was parked outside overnight, had 11 jail bars when I went to the store 10 minutes away. Still had them when I came out of the store. Went for an hour drive and when I got there the 11 jumped down to the normal 4. It didn't gradually go down, just jumped from 11 to 4.

Today I left my house after the car has been parked outside overnight in 25-30°F temps. There were 11 limiter bars, this is consistent with the behavior I have been seeing after the 6.x updates. I then drove 19 miles on the highway in 30-35° temps over a half an hour. When I got off the highway and stopped at a traffic light I still had the 11 limiter bars. When the light turned green less than a minute later I looked down and I was all of a sudden down to 5 limiter bars.

It seems like the status is getting stuck, and then all of a sudden updating.

Cold Battery! It's recommended to plug the car in below 40F and set preconditioning.

I am aware. I’ve owned a Mach E for 3 winters now. It did not behave this way the last 2 winters or prior to 6.6.0.

Ahh the winter weather is back and so are the stuck jail bars issue caused by this update.

For reference this photo was taken after the car was outside in 30° weather all day. Prior to driving it had been changing for 3 hours and the battery was preconditioned before departing. I took this photo after driving for 20 minutes. The bars did not change at all over that time.

I would bring it in to the dealer to get it looked at, but all this started after this update, so there’s nothing they can do.
