BlueCruise "not available for your vehicle"

Hi. I have a '22 Mach-E. There is no indication that BlueCruise is available anywhere in my vehicle dash or within FordPass app. The car is configd for auto-updates. With no indication of BlueCruise available anywhere, I called the FordPass customer service number. After a lengthy hold the rep told me that she checked with the supervisor and "YOUR CAR WAS NOT BUILT TO HAVE BLUECRUISE" ... in this forum or anywhere else on the interwebs I can't find any evidence of certain Mach-E's not having any access to BlueCruise.... Totally possible that the FordPass customer service has no idea what they're talking about, but also there really seems to be zero evidence of BlueCruise availability anywhere in my vehicle or app.

Any guidance much appreciated!

So you've got copilot assist 2.0 which is hands-on lane centering. It's essentially bluecruise, but doesn't have hands free mode.

Only 2023 model year and later have BlueCruise equipment standard. 2021 and 2022 had to have it installed as an option, or as a prep kit when they were having supply chain problems.

The prep kit had nothing to do with supply chain problems. When the Mach-E came out, the software wasn't ready. Cars were produced with the hardware only, with the "promise" that it would be enabled in the 2nd half of 2021, when then didn't happen until Spring 2022, or later for some.

Yes, you could order 2021s and 2022s without the prep kit, and you can't add it.

I am guessing you are not in the US based on being in York And that your MME is an RWD model without the Tech package, is that correct? ??

Check your window sticker. If it does not have ”Ford Co-Pilot 360/Active 2.0” listed on it, your car is not hardware-compatible with BlueCruise Hands-Free and likewise does not include the exterior overhead view of the car when the camera is activated. ?‍♂?

Very possible the car has it too as I am dealing with this same situation in my 2021 premium. It has the active prep kit and they did all the bluecruise updates and it still doesn’t work. It also doesn’t show up in connected services. With that being said, ford corporate can’t determine the problem so mine will have to go back to the dealer soon for a second look as they said when they did the last bluecruise update that it was working after their test drive.

Not all Mach-Es were built for BlueCruise. It was an option.
