My Mach drop just changed to "In production". woohoo!

That probably means the order was sent to the plant and you may be able to get your Monroney sticker now.

OK My Dealer just sent me my VIN Number, my window sticker and told me he has an estimated arrival date of Jan 25th!

UPDATE: Ford site still shows build week only - no update for production complete...

I mentioned again that I didn't want the front plate holder installed. I was thrilled he told me they have standing orders not to put the front plate holders on any Mustangs or special vehicles!

I really, really don't want a front plate added to mine (if and when I buy one). I have a feeling the dealers around me will be bolting brackets on the second they arrive on the lot.

Send your salesman a note to put a note on the car's file to not install it when they check it in - I have an agreement in place - no license plate frame on the front of the car and no dealer stickers either....

Oh the dealer stickers! They had one on the Kia Stinger I bought and I told them to either take it off or pay me for advertising lol
Good tip on the front plate, will hound the dealer after I order.

There are still a few dealers in the United States who are of the opinion that no customer contact is the best customer contact, until it’s time for you to pay up. Those are quickly becoming late Cretaceous period dinosaurs thankfully.

My sales guy called me last week to let me know that my Mache would be built the same date that was in my email. I laughed a little and said yes, I know, I texted you that date. He is actually a good guy. He was there for the road show. Remember the cool wine glasses? He laughed and said oh yeah you are on the Forum! You guys know everything before us!

It depends. Mine has been In Production since Nov 9th. Not Dec 9th.....Nov 9th.

Vehicles remain In Production from the day it is sent to plant until the day it ships.

That is as good a reason as any....
The other side of that coin might beg the question to ask how much sense it makes to make special shipping arrangements to a state that is virtually locked down due to pandemic concerns. Would very many owners even be on the roads anyway?

Being locked down today doesn't mean being locked down a month from now. They can't possibly plan that way. We are going to be driving the Mache to get to see our physicians and for those important tests too after all.

I think we have the same dealer... Though I find out everything here first, I do appreciate the effort and the outreach from them.
