Yeah, the website is a hot mess. I've been trying to access if for the last 20-30 minutes and it's just plain broken. Not even the "Live Chat" worked.
I'm guessing they host their site rather than AWS that could dynamically add capacity.

On the bright side the bitching about how bad Ford sucks can continue

Finally!!! Holy crap. It probably was about 43 refreshes (this is a lot considering their site sucks as there is a long load time too) and then connected via vpn on one of my machines to get the reserve link to show.

This didn’t mean the end as it took about 35 reserve attempts then.

Webserver appears to be overwhelmed. We successfully DDOS'd it :)
I can't reserve one, been trying since 8:30am EST.

I did 30 min and mine was 151. That escalated quickly.

I believe Ford uses GCP (Google cloud) these days. Not like automotive is exactly known for writing good software, especially especially for new things like cloud connectivity. That goes doubly true for legacy automotive.

Me too. Given the incredibly successful OTA and general communications strategies of the elite Ford programming team, I really expected their system to handle this event. better. Shocking, I say.

I try to load the site, select my Mach E, and nothing. Site must be having issues.

I was able to order mine through the fordpass app under connected services
Thanks. When I open Connective Services in the App it jumped to useless screen showing supported payments. So, I updated the FordPass app, still no luck.
