I had the same type of problem all day yesterday. I saw a post somewhere, possibly the Lightning forum, where someone with repeated failures had success when they tried another FordPass account linked to the same VIN. Last night, we finally tried to order in FordPass with my son's account instead of my own, and it worked the first time. By that time, estimated delivery had slipped to August.

I'm the only driver so I created a new account and it wouldn't even get me to the connected services. Great idea but didn't work. I might just call Ford.

I' m not sure if fordpass is different in canada but are you saying in fordpass, you couldn't get to "connected services" to create an blue oval network account?

Actually I think what they've done is fix the Check Order Status link because now it works.

Showing May delivery, even though the App said April yesterday

can you share the check order status URL? although i seemed to have placed the order/reservation, and a ford CSR gave me a reservation #, i still haven't seen any email, thus i don't know how to see if ford's servers really think i made the reservation. nor do i have any idea of an estimated ship date.

Well this sucks, I saw the notice yesterday morning but it wouldn't let me order. Everytime I'd like the link it would ask me to chose MachE or my Escape PHEV, after I chose my MachE, I would get to a generic support screen with no order option

Today I finally removed my Escape from my account AND then it let me order... August ship date ... this sucks

Yeah, that’s what I was thinking too. They made such a big deal about, you think they would have had a bigger production run ready to go.

We have to go with what we're being told, but for all involved, there's a lot of potential revenue and market positivity around this, so there is some incentive if the manufacturer and supply chain can handle it, to make it move faster.

Chevy and others are not far behind. It won't be a good story for anyone involved if it's 2025 or later because of capacity issues.
