Yes, update reverts it back to stock so you'll have to re-enable it again.

The car was updated several times over the past 12 months and it always stuck.

FYI - the power meter now works on 2021 Job 1 cars that have the new IPC software included in PowerUp 6.8.0.

I followed @CarGuy11 's youtube video on how to enable this.

I confirm that with 6.8.0, our '21 Job 1 Premium ER following the instructions did indeed enable the power meter. Thanks to the community for these thorough and easy-to-follow instructions.

I kind of wonder why this meter isn't on all trims. I assume some MBA executive thought that this would somehow set GTs apart? Probably got his degree from Harvard too. Shows money can't buy common sense.

Just to verify, if its a '21 Job1 and ive done the method and still have no meter, then im not on 6.8 correct? I thought i got that update already but i could be mistaken. I cant see the last real update since i got the priority update 23-pu0314

Early messages said that 2012 job 1 may require FRDS IPC for the meter to work, having 6.8.0 may not be enough

6.8.0 was enough for me.

The following day I pulled the FE out of the garage to wash it and now the power meter is showing on the IPC.

There were reports that one of the recent Ford updates broke FORScan communication with some modules. Not sure there's a new version of FORScan yet to address that (if that's even the problem).

Any idea if this ever got fixed? I have a new 2023 I just got and I can’t see the IPC module either.
Any work around that anyone knows of?

Thanks. I read a bunch of things and wonder if it might be my OBD reader. I got one from the car scanner list but it isn’t the recommended type for forscan. If that doesn’t help I’ll email them.

Shortly after my post Forscan was updated and my IPC module showed up allowing me to program the power meter. Make sure you have the latest software. I used my laptop and mongoose cable.

I just downloaded forscan direct from their website. Is there a newer version than what the standard download link goes to?
