Whoa. So after checking my account page my SOC is 50%. That's after the car was running for 4+ hours this weekend and charging. I'da never realized that was the page to get the LVB SOC, SMH, LOL, BRB, BBQ going to leave it running in the garage for 4 hours or so.
Keep an eye on that page periodically over the next few weeks. If you're not seeing the battery percentage reach into the upper 80s, your battery might be failing. Mine was routinely as low as 40% and rarely higher than 75%>

I asked the dealer to check it while the vehicle was in for other items. They said they found a cracked wall and leaking acid so they replaced it. Now it's generally showing between 75% to 94% on the Ford account page.

potentially a failing 12v battery? Rather than leave the car powered up you can hook it up and charge the hv battery which should top off your 12v. The other thing, don't ever use the car in accessory mode, go ahead and power it up. Accessory mode just discharges the 12v battery quicker.

Yeah I leave it running all the time. I sit for 3+ hours a week at my kid's Krav Maga class.
I'm leaning towards the battery going out on me soon. In 1 hour running the SOC went from 49 to 71%. I'll try to get it to 85% and then shut it down and check back after a couple hours. I don't leave my BT ODBII plugged in either.

Well, that may be true, but I have a new battery that I won't have to worry about for another 2-3 years ? ? ?
There was no warning back when my 12V was replaced it was me trying to recondition it and it coming back with it was bad. Then my service load testing it and confirming what I told them.

I would say you should reset your 12V battery learned values if that persists but some here say that is taboo. Mine also struggle getting to 70% and never saw it over 80% until it was reset.

Been sitting for a over a week and

It doesn’t refresh when the car is off. Pull down on FordPass to refresh the data, then check again after a minute. I bet it goes down.
I don't refresh the app or play with the car. The trill is gone. The app say updated 7 hours ago so I bet you that was the value 7 hours ago.

So, I’m just over 3 years with the car and over 40k miles. Just checked my LVB and it was at 90% after an hour drive home. All seems to be working fine and I haven’t had an update fail recently. Any thoughts on how long one of these LVB’s will last in a warm climate?

1.5 hours 75%. After reading what Lee said about finally hitting 100% after days I'm not going to wait that long, but another 2 hours can't hurt.

I think it has a lot to do with how often and for how long you drive, not so much the heat. I think I got you beat for the battery flambe in the summer. I have a LOT of 15 to 20 minute runs throughout the week, which is why I thought the ~2 hours 3 times a week would cover it for me to bring some life back into this dinky AGM.

Correct, it would be the value when FordPass last updated.

When my car is parked it doesn’t wake up or update FordPass at all. “Last updated 3 days ago”. So just be aware of how recent the value is.

If the battery can’t get above 80% after the car has been on 3 hours (and it not extremely cold outside) then you may have a marginal battery.

It is nice when it is plugged in and cold it comes alive and preconditions daily, updating the app, and charge the 12V battery. Has not been plugged or driven for 10 days been warm 0C (weird) it is getting colder tonight so I plugged it in about 7 hours ago. I don't bug it when it sits and it is doing really well here lately. You think if they can program it to auto precondition it can also be smarter than my $100 amg smart charger. Some say it takes 100 years to fully exhaust an invention. Recondition annually (bi). Reboot the 12V learning when in doubt. ;) Working well enough here right now.

Erik, do you have access to a plug-in 12V charger? If you do, set it to AGM and just leave it connected to your battery over night to see if it pops your SoC up at all. If it does, maybe leave the charger in the car over the weekend. ??

The one I have is a dumb charger without a AGM setting. It's 6v/12v 2/4/6amp. The SOC is going up, but it seems that from 70%+ it's pretty slow via the car. It's the second reason why I haven't bothered with FDRS, yet.

I would recommend you drill access ports to the 12V and get yourself a modern 12V (15 amp+) charger when they come on sale. It is something that is around for a long time and comes in handy once and a while. They are light and compact now and store well in a frunk.

Reset your 12V battery learned values to ensure the battery is fully recharged while driving may help also? Saw the same problem on mine and it appears to have helped. I reset it prior to reconditioning it after it did not wanting to recondition after a couple of tries. The 12V BMS was not stellar at the beginning for these vehicles. AI is only as smart as the person that programed it.

@Mach-Lee, do you know, is the 12V battery in the Mach-E really covered by warranty for 3 years?
