24-PU0121-FTDI-FX Update - Battery Optimization + Battery & Remote Start Enhancements

Noticed that the tire pressure shows blank in the app after this update and online vehicle status shows 9502 for each tire pressure. Not sure if this is a side effect of the update or a different issue… never observed this behavior before .

That's normal after a BCM update, just drive the car a couple miles and it should fix itself.
If interior lights are pulsing, means the same thing, drive car to learn TPMS sensors.

Remote start profile would be a very welcome fix. Though I am curious what they mean by “most recent”. Hopefully most recently used for that remote start profile, and whoever more recently used the car since I can barely get in with my wife’s seat seat settings.

If you set hers to easy exit it slides back for them on exit and makes that a bit easier on you.

I’m assuming this update allows for better 12V battery charging perhaps before an update is installed to avoid the risk of it failing.

That's great. Better 12V BMS sounds good. Hope it is extend to in general and not just prior to updates?

This is an update I would like to try not sure how long if I get it. My last update was the Tesla one skipping dozens to get there. So it still does updates when they are sent. Stalled on 6.4 here. Gave up following all the crazy password updates as I do not get them anyway but will be looking for 24-PU0121-FTDI-FX.

I'll take what I get if the fix is the 12V BMS upgrade . Possibly something Alexa or nav based?

It is about time an update comes out to ensure 12v is adequate for updates.

Makes sense they send this update before the Big BC1.4 update that will require a long inhibit time and healthy 12V battery.

If you have profiles set properly the car should be moving the seat for you before you even get in, regardless of this update.

The bug is that it didn't use your profile if you remotely started the car, it used the guest. The question now is that the fix supposedly keeps the the last profile when you remote start, so it's unclear if it'll actually choose the correct profile if someone else was using it on their profile before you remotely start it and try to get in.

It said it would be an 8 minute inhibit update, not 2.5 hours.

In the back end it shows inhibit "up to 2.5 hours". Obviously what it showed on the screen is different.
