My VIN does show up on this site. And the « origin » is very close (10km) from my dealer. What does it mean?

Ok, you're NorCal like eltonlin. I'm in SoCal but haven't been able to see an update using my vin on that site. My completion date was 12/8 so maybe SoCal is shipping via a different method/company.

My build date changed from 11/29 to 12/15. I basically stopped chasing tracker. I am kind of mindset that I will get somewhere in Feb

I look forward to seeing this info on my VIN. I am about a week behind you so should see it updated soon. I am guessing early February for delivery which is fine, Ford can take their time as I am in no hurry aside from the excitement of such.

Since my build date was 11 days after yours, I’m hoping to get a ship date by 3 Jan....let’s see if the math works.

I would assume cars for Canada will be sent by train to KC as well. How the go and how long it takes to get them up north is another question.

I’ll have to wait until around June of 2021 to receive mine as I ordered on 10-12-20. I was pretty upset about this (even more so when my dealer told me I’d have my MME in December ‘20 or January ‘21!). Now I feel it is a GOOD thing and HOPE to take delivery of my new MME in June or July! I plan on applying the 3M PPF and in Illinois the weather during the summer months is ideal in that it’s dry and only rains rarely. This will make it easy for me to literally drive the car from my dealer to the 3M installer the same day! In actuality, I’ll get an appointment with the 3M installer later (as I’ll know the approximate ETA of the car). So alll of this calculation of arrival dates for the first MME are moot for me. I feel sorry for those who have waited so long for their cars. Ford adds insult to injury with their almost total lack of communication which in turn causes all this guessing on the forum. I know we’re in the middle of a pandemic the likes of which we haven’t seen since 1917 but give me a break! Ford could do a MUCH better job at communicating with their customers ! They did in 2001 for the Ford Thunderbird rollout as I witnessed it firsthand (IlliniBird was a 2002 Torch Red Premium Thunderbird with the removable hard top).

All in all though, considering everything above, it works for me!

The bad news for those waiting to be built is that the plant is closed till 1-4-2021. Good news for those who are already built like me is that they will continue shipping this week. I still don't get the order of things but who cares, life is not fair and I am just happy and or fortunate to be able to get an MME FE. My guess is that my MME ships in the next two weeks given the backlog and I should see it beginning to the middle of Feb. I am fine with that, less harsh winter to muck up my new MME. I still am confused on how the self driving for $600 (before some discount) get ordered and what to expect with final paperwork. I am also wonder what the Q1 incentive will look like as well as finance or leasing numbers. As usual I have my typical new car OCD's going on which get worse after the purchase with babying my baby. Don't get me started, I have issues . My dealer is now sending me updates every Monday which is great, that communication works for me. Hopefully some that already ship post here so we can see how the timeline goes to judge our own progress. I am in NJ, I see my VIN come up on the trucking website which is another great tool. Thank you to this forum for not only keeping me informed but also keeping me company on this very long journey. This is the second vehicle I have ordered, first being my Jeep Wrangler 2017 Rubicon. In August 2016 when the order banks had opened I placed my order which didn't get delivered till early November. Even back then waiting 4 months was hell but this for sure has thought me to be more patient in life. The MME has been a wonderful distraction to what's going on around me, so thank you all again!!

PS - FORD has done a great job keeping things real, we all forget what's going on around us and when this is over we will all forget about it. Looking forward to a fun 2021 with my MME and current distractions behind us. See you around town (soon), If in NJ look for a RR FE, will share part of my plate later when I get it.

My takeaway from this thread so far is to expect about eight weeks from when the order is placed into production until it arrives at the dealer-does that sound correct? So with a week of January 3 production date, I shouldn’t expect mine until mid-March.

Transit time is about 35 days from when the vehicle is produced now that they are shipping as of 12/19
