Since I am #15,331 with an estimated June shipping date, I must assume, if I get one, it will be after June and will have to pay $250+ for it.
Ford only sends me emails trying to sell me something. Nothing regarding recalls (not even the HVBJB recall, although my VIN was listed and the dealership performed it). Only found out about some recalls after the MME was in the "shop" for other things.
So I only found out, too late, about the NACS adapter on this forum. I do not spend much time(comparatively), although much more time than I should, on this forum.
I get OTAs much after you privileged guys do, sometime as much as a month or more later. Sometimes that is advantageous. I am alerted to the failures most of the OTAs introduce and I think some of the flaws are corrected by the time those of us in the bottom of the barrel have received more recent OTAs.

We may not ever take the risk of a road trip with the MME, but we still plan at least one per year.

One of the reasons we purchased our EVs was less things in an EV that could go wrong compared to an ICE vehicle. The MME has spent more days in the "shop" than all of our ICE vehicles(over a score of them) combined. And the MME is our first vehicle we could not risk taking a road trip.

When I did it for my 2021 as soon as I heard I could, I had a May ETA. After trading it in for the 2023 on March 8th, I now have an ETA of September. Order number 61397. So, I took advantage of @Mach-E VLOG discount and ordered an A2Z Adapter, too. Hope to get it by my original ETA of May but have not heard from A2Z as to when it will ship. ?

A2Z has been really good getting them out in a reasonable amount of time, although no doubt their order rate keeps soaring, especially after Rivian just getting access. I would guess you'll get it before May.

Dang. I missed that discount and just ordered an A2Z adapter. Ours is scheduled for June but we've also got a trip planned in June and I wanted to be sure to have the SC option when we hit the road. Peace of mind if nothing else.

Just put my reservation in, showing estimated September delivery. Reservation numbers are above 75K.

A note to any fellow new owners, it took a full 4 days after purchase before the reservation option was available to me in the Connected Services section of the app/website. All the services showed active on day one, but just had to be patient.

Ayone with installed KW coilovers (like me) is probably wise to invest in the short ramps mentioned in this and other threads (also like me). I will test my Ford adapter and my short ramps on a nearby Tesla SuperStatio when the adapter arrives in May.

A2Z shipping time seems to be under 3 weeks. I think they were getting faster then Rivian joined in. Maybe that slowed them down a bit. But either way I would expect it to ship around 2-3 weeks after ordering.

Our team is working diligently to process orders for shipment, and we anticipate receiving more stock throughout this week to fulfill orders until the first week of April 2024.

We're optimistic that the quantity will suffice to fulfill all orders. Pre-orders have already been dispatched, and new orders will follow shortly.

I was one of the lucky ones who got an extremely low order number with an Est ship by April 2024. Which seemingly means there are only a couple days left to ship by April 2024.

Unless of course they meant ship by the end of April 2024.

No way to tell. We don't have any information on how efficient Tesla's adapter producer is. I'm supposed to receive mine in May. But I have a trip coming up in 2 weeks so I went ahead and ordered the A2Z adapter, which I received a week ago. I have another trip at the end of May, but I didn't want to play the guessing game of when the Ford adapter would arrive. I'm happy to have the A2Z adapter while I wait for Ford's.
