I got the dreaded “battery drain” message for no apparent reason. I can only assume it had something to do with me connecting the car to home wifi yesterday. The good news is the alert appeared while I was home and time to charge.

But why not show the battery level in the app? How do I know if I’m good to go in the morning?

Login to the ford website and it’s on that page.
Let me find the link. Not intuitive

Go to ford.com. Open menu and click my account. Login. Then open menu again, click my account. Then click “your name” account. You should see a page like this. Charge level is your 12v

Your 12v shouldn’t need much attention. It’ll charge when the car is on, actively charging (not just plugged in), or when it dips too low. You know your good to go in the morning because it’ll start charging when the car is turned on. I got this once, and never again. WiFi doesn’t take much energy to use, so that was a coincidence.

The 12V in these vehicles does not need much attention? Where have you been? Obviously not on this forum. Why is there a whole thread dedicated to charging and reconditioning it? A FAQ thread about it? The 12V has been a regular PITA for a lot of people on this forum. It below a number of frunk covers and not visible/assessable does not mean it needs any less attention.

I agree with the original poster there should be info for it in sync or at least the app. Go to the web page is a bit ridiculous. 12V batteries do not last the life of the car a bit more (any) info on them would be helpful.

You mentioned issues with a flat 12v battery before. Did you disclose your Fordpass password to local utility company? Or do they use password to your Juicebox for "smart" charging at cheaper rate?

I had an issue with my 21 MME. I actually have a 23 model now. First time with this vehicle. I do not share passwords with utilities or Juicebox. I happen to use a Juicebox 40 but ai rely on the MME for smart charging.

Hopefully in the future a low voltage battery gauge will be included on the screen somewhere, like a diagnostic page, so we can see whats up. I hear that future EV LVB's will have a higher voltage, (36v?) to better handle all the electronics on board, with less heat and weight.

Agree with OP. If Ford can bury it on their website, they can highlight on the app. I would think that their ICE customers would appreciate it as well, if it’s not there already for them.

So far I have had no battery problems either HV or 12v. I have just the soc for both — HV shows 90% whilst the 12v shows 78% on Ford.com. Is that good bearing in mind I usually only drive relatively short distances and do have front/rear dashcams wired in by my Ford dealer before I took delivery. The dashcams only operate when the vehicle is on or the accessory power is on. I normally leave the vehicle plugged into my home charger all the time set to 90%.
I know the 12v battery is only charged either when the vehicle is being charged or on. Bit confused by “on”. Is this fully on ie driving or accessory on?

try to avoid using accessory mode as that will discharge the 12v. If you want to listen to stereo or something else, better to fully power up the car.

The Charge Level on the screen above is not the level of charge for the 12v battery. It is the charge level of the main battery.

This has been discussed in agonizing detail countless numbers of times. For whatever reason, the charge percentage listed on that page of ford.com is most certainly the 12v battery. You can find a long explanation of this in mach-lee's excellent 12v faq thread (it's in the very first post). https://www.macheforum.com/site/threads/12v-battery-faq.32744/
