Tulip mania (Dutch: tulpenmanie) was a period during the Dutch Golden Age when contract prices for some bulbs of the recently introduced and fashionable tulip reached extraordinarily high levels, and then dramatically collapsed in February 1637.[2] It is generally considered the first recorded speculative bubble (or asset bubble) in history.[3] In many ways, the tulip mania was more of a hitherto unknown socio-economic phenomenon than a significant economic crisis. It had no critical influence on the prosperity of the Dutch Republic, which was the world's leading economic and financial power in the 17th century, with the highest per capita income in the world from about 1600 to 1720.[4][5][6] The term "tulip mania" is now often used metaphorically to refer to any large economic bubble when asset prices deviate from intrinsic values.Yeah, the valuation makes no sense to me but I'm just a software engineer and not a finance guy.
My buddy just bought a Model Y a couple months ago, SAME EXACT THING happened to him. They ended up replacing the entire set of motors and motor assemblies. Only difference is, his died with about 20 miles on the car (literally 1 day after driving it home). He was without the vehicle for about 1 1/2 months whilst it got repaired.
Edit: And, here -- https://www.macheforum.com/site/thr...oss-takes-swipe-at-tesla-quality-issues.2498/While the buyers of some electric vehicles have had to accept certain flaws, Palmer says that this isn’t acceptable for Ford. “The doors fit properly, the plastics and other materials color-match, the bumpers don’t fall off, the roof doesn’t come off when you wash it, the door handles don’t get stuck in cold weather. ...”
At least that customer has a real life vehicle and the opportunity to reject delivery if they wanted to. We don’t even get an email from Ford.So 10 weeks for a model 3 From his order. 2 and half months. Not that quick ehhhh. The door would make me mad right off the start.
All you need right there. Don't need my handheld. When it's ready it will show up. When it is delivered. I will go pick it up.At least that customer has a real life vehicle and the opportunity to reject delivery if they wanted to. We don’t even get an email from Ford.
Ford should put focus on their own customers.
No delay on the mache but 3 weeks, seems like a massive effort. In fact, It's been brought up many times The number of companies shocked at how well ford did this year compared to others.I already expect a dismissive attitude and the minimum effort from the Ford Motor Company, you don’t need to reinforce that impression.
So what Ford is saying in effect is: sit down and shut up while your car built 6 weeks ago rots in the Mexican desert, we’re too busy attacking other manufacturers to be bothered with focusing on our own operation. Besides, we have a 10 day vacay to enjoy.
What they are saying is we are in the middle of a pandemic...so yeah things are delayed. Not sure where you are but it’s not fake news. There is actually a pandemic.I already expect a dismissive attitude and the minimum effort from the Ford Motor Company, you don’t need to reinforce that impression.

Offhand I'd say that not only is your anger misdirected and rather unjustified but that you might want to reconsider just which car you want to buy. It would seem you've developed so much annoyance about Ford and its pandemic responses and constraints that I doubt you're going to be satisfied with anything it produces.I already expect a dismissive attitude and the minimum effort from the Ford Motor Company, you don’t need to reinforce that impression.

BTW, Cuautitlán Izcalli is hardly a desert. Average highs this time of the year are 74 F with overnight lows averaging 42 F. The climate is considered subtropical highland. It's rainier during the summer than the winter and averages a bit over 25 inches a year, about the same as the wettest parts of the San Francisco Bay Area. Neither are deserts.
That is pertinent, because I found a review that he posted about the Mach-E, relating to the Model Y. Very interesting. 6 weeks, not 6 days for those with November builds.6 days causes a vehicle to rot? I can't find that anywhere also. Maybe it's in my panties are in a bunch wiki page. I'm trying to find it I swear.
