Why the Mustang Mach E is better than the Tesla Model Y

It sure is, but beauty needs to exists in the first place in order for people to be subjective about it... if it is not there in the first place, but someone sees beauty in it, then it is more than likely a mild case of Stockholm syndrome.

Take the Blobfish for example. It’s been voted the worlds ugliest animal... you’ll be hard pressed to find anyone who thinks it holds any sort of beauty, other than a click of Marine Biologist who marvel at the depths its can descend to, sit in an echo chamber of blobfish wonder, studying everything they can about it, finding out all about it’s marvellous inner workings and figuring out its place in evolution, staring at it 16 hours a day and then dreaming about it for 8 hours at night. Eventually they begin to think its as cute as a panda... then they start to get jealous of the attention the panda gets and it’s not long before they start saying crazy things out in public, like the Blobfish is cuter than a Panda and that cuteness is subjective.

What happened to them is no different to the Mermaid theory. You’re out at sea months, staring at Manatees for so long that you start to think they’re mermaids.

The Model Y is the Blobfish and Tesla fans are the Marine biologists.

As a marine biologist I resemble that remark!

There is an incredible similarity to the Tesla, IMO.

My son works on fishing vessels out of Dutch Harbor, AK. He is a marine scientist and even he thinks blobfishes are ugly.....this is one his boat caught (accidentally, of course).

Is he a fishery observer?

Tesla tells employees Model S and X production will shut down for 18 days

• Tesla will shut down production lines for its high-end, but older, electric vehicles -- the Model S sedan and Model X SUV -- for18 days beginning on December 24th, according to an email to factory employees seen by CNBC.
• In the period ending September 30, 2020, Tesla reported that about 11% of its vehicle deliveries were Model S and X cars, and the rest were Model 3 and Model Y.
• Employees working on the lines were told they were being given a full week of pay for the forced time off, but were encouraged to seek shifts working for, or even volunteering in, other parts of the business for the remaining unpaid days.

Employees working on those lines were offered a full week of pay to cover one of the two and a half weeks of the shutdown, along with a few paid holidays. They were asked to take 5 unplanned and unpaid days off, but have the option to try to find work in other areas of the factory during those days.

They were also encouraged to “volunteer” to help make electric vehicle deliveries to customers during the shut down.
In a separate email sent to the entire company on Friday, Tesla CEO Elon Musk noted that the company is “fortunate to have the high-class problem of demand being quite a bit higher than production this quarter” and asked for employees to increase production as much as possible during the rest of the quarter.
The shutdown of the S and X lines suggests that the high demand does not extend to these older models. It’s not clear what Tesla intends to do with its Model S and X lines during the holiday shutdown. The company did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
The company has been struggling with a recall in China, and safety probe by NHTSA, and warranty expansion covering some of its high-end Model S sedans, and its luxury SUV with falcon wing doors, the Model X, this year.
Deliveries of these vehicles amounted to 15,200 in the third quarter of 2020, according to the company’s vehicle production and deliveries report from the period ending September 30 representing around 11% of vehicle deliveries during the quarter.
