Haven’t had update in 2 months and I’ve tried all the tricks posted online but nothing seems to work. Hoping someone can confirm where my mache is at. Much appreciated

Note the shaded box for your gateway module. This means it is not update-able at present due to some data error. Ford may be blocking a gateway update on your car for some reason. You should contact your service advisor to inquire. They will likely have to go up the chain as well. You can also call the BEV hotline and ask them to take a look.

Hi Rugedraw,
yes other Mach-E cars can receive OTA. Unfortunately, I don't know anyone around here who also has a Mach-E to compare. It is quite possible that my TCU is still registered in Germany.

Despite that, I should still receive the updates, right?

Can an old Sync version of job 1 be updated to a new version? Or will the version remain the same because my MME is from 2021?
Well, the fact that your connected data can be pulled is a good sign because it means your car is talking to the mothership. I cannot answer your question about being able to get updates with certainty. What I can tell you is that even if you can get them, it will take a long time for the OTA process to get you caught up as far behind as you are.

New to the forum, just got my GT a week ago. Doesn’t look like this thing has seen any updates ever. Sales person at dealership barely understood when I asked about updates. If someone could please look up my vin, I’d be grateful 3FMTK4SE9PMA44458
You have no OTA history...but I guess you knew that. So setup a daily schedule to check for updates...preferably at the time you're actually driving the car...

Good evening, I'm still in the hunt for a Mach-e. Would anyone be able to run the VIN of one I'm looking at Sheehy Ford to see if there are any major issues or red flags? 3FMTK3SU7MMA24982
Thank you!

The shaded box for your PSCM means there's a temporary block this car's power steering module for some reason. This has been coded by Ford at their server level. You'd have to call the BEV team and ask them why that block is there. They might not even know....again, it's probably a temporary block until a revised PSCM update is released for your car, it could be as simple as that.

Would appreciate if anyone would be able to run my VIN and give me an idea where I’m at. I bought the car in early March and a couple updates went through right away, but I had to delete the app and resync PAAK and when I did that there hasnt been an update since. Wondering if it was a coincidence or that somehow switched a setting or something.

VIN: 3FMTK3R78PMA65545

Thank you in advance!!!

You are the second VIN I've looked up this morning that has a GVMS data error block (shaded box on your GWM module) on the GWM module. So Ford must be blocking your gateway module from getting an update until they revise the update they intend on sending out.

Thank you so much. I had auto update on daily from 9pm. Guess I'll change the time to 5pm as that is when I drive the car the most.

Note the GVMS data error shaded box on your GWM module. You're the third VIN I've looked up this morning with this temporary block. It means Ford is blocking that module from getting an update using FDRS. They obviously don't want techs updating that module right now. They are likely revising an update package for the GWM module and don't want anybody applying an older revision until they've pushed out the new one.

@RickM110

Ford is even worse at sending out OTAs to EU/UK cars than they are here in North America.

And if you get a chance to call them...you can tell them I said so.

Hello, traded my '21 Select for a '23 Premium in February, and haven't had an update since March 8. Would really appreciate a check

Thank you for all your patience and looking up the dates for my car. I really appreciate this ?

I have one question left…… Can an old Sync version of job 1 be updated to a new version? Or will the version remain the same because my MME is from 2021?

First, THANK YOU @Mike G !!!

So I called Ford, got their OTA team and they said on their end, they only saw 4 updates that try to go through that did not and presented error codes. They said other updates were still going through (although, my car doesn't show that). They started a case, gave me the case no. and told me to take it into the dealer and have their EV tech contact Ford to walk through the updates to troubleshoot. I wonder why their info conflicts with both what you found and my car is showing. It's also such a pain taking it back to the dealer - I already had to take it back three times for the water leak in the hatch and the dealer not putting it back together correctly when they finally fixed the leak.

I recently back in December had a failed update for powerup 6.4 (I think). Since then I've only received a couple minor priority updates and haven't seen a retry of the failed powerup update since. I would really appreciate it if anyone has some time to check my VIN to see if the failed update has somehow gotten my vehicle stuck with the powerup update series.

I'd appreciate any help anyone can offer, VIN is 3FMTK3R72MMA66413 (21 ER Premium)
